I hear its Moga, Ese'ese, Tim Grant, Brenton Lawrence. They will sign Grant if they miss out on Ese'Ese and Lawrence may go to ESL.

I think watson will go there myself. No loss.

Anyone else sometime think, these leaks to the media are agenda based to try and drum up encouragement, support or lack of support for a said player or said club.
I feel CW manager may have made public our offer just so the knights get a bit more pressure to up theirs especially if that is where he always intended on going to.

In reverse I believe our club reneged on a descission to sign Willy Mason due to a negative public reaction from a media leak.

If brown rekons these announcments will be made buy next week i doubt uncle nick will be back in sydney buy then. The roosters still need to release watson before he can be announced as a signing. Brown does not know when politis will be back which means watson isnt on his signing announcment list.

Im sure hooper or massoud would know if we pulled the deal off the table or if in fact watson decided to sign with the knights.

Room for all in our team. Liddle, Brooks, Lolohea and Watson makes for very quick players in the most important positions.

And Reynolds fits in where, Reynolds will be five eight.

He will be five eight but will he be able to hold that position ? I think it depends on injuries and how Tui, Watson (assuming he is coming here) and Brooks kick on. I can't honestly see Liddle not making the hooker spot his own.

I'm worried with the Reynolds signing. 2 years would have been perfect.

I am hoping Reynolds shows the same desire and will to win when he gets here, if he does with all his off field stuff he will be a great signing

I think he is a great signing as well but I'm concerned about the length of the contract. If we've signed Watson we have a couple of players that could turn into real good players and put pressure on Reynolds spot. Even if we haven't signed Watson we may pick up another player in the halves who is a better fit later in Reynolds contract years. For the dollars we've signed him at you don't want to have to play him in reserves.

I agree, but Brooks or Tui could be the odd one out, and I have high hopes for Gamble as well, and he kicks goals

The issue is Brooks, Tui and Watson are question marks. Reynolds will be good at 5/8 as long as our halfback plays the position well. Adding Watson gives us another option if Brooks and Tui were consistently good there is no chance Cleary would target Watson with our lack of forwards.

Does anyone else think this Politis holiday story is BS? I mean, they managed to re-sign Tupou the other day.

Sounds like Gordon is out for a while with a pec, so we'll get a good look at him at fullback.

It would be really funny if Watson ripped it up at fullback for the chooks, but they will probably put Mitchell there

Brown says way too much to the media about their recruitment… totally different approach to Cleary... which is why Browm misses out on so many signings

Yeah..I agree…He is not a half though...played all his junior football at fullback...I rhink even Robinson acknowledges this by going with Cornish....

Only played 46min and defended well in the line but looked best in the last 6min at the back...

450K seems reasonable with a lot of upside in him...

If we have offered him 450k, I'd rather we double that and buy a marquee player as opposed to 2 players

Name one 900k marquee player available for the 2018 season.

Might have to confirm with Tacky, but I think James Roberts is STILL off contract.

Can confirm, James Roberts is _**still**_ off-contract.

Only 24 as well.
