I enjoyed watching him play tonight. Excellent pace, keeps the defence on their toes and also demonstrated plenty of ticker in the middle in defence.
Gould's comments after the game on Cornish and the likelihood that he won't mature as a half for another couple of year (mid twenties) were interesting. Let's hope this young fellow does come good as some had huge opinions on his ability when he was at the Raiders.
He's got speed, plenty of ticker and can ball play. To me, he looks like a good fullback for lurking around the forwards for an offload. Not sure he could start anywhere else in the team. Obviously, he's a good utility, but who can afford that if we're playing 2 hookers?
Agreed. Having a utility who can cover a number of positions is more realistic than having MM as a specialist hooker on the interchange.
Connor Watson to start at Fullback, Tui bench utility. Tui to ask for early release at completion of 2018.
Just a hunch. Haha
