So finally the recommendation has come out that those of us living in Melbourne should be wearing masks if we do have to go out. Fair enough.

My wife has ordered some washable/reusable ones on-line. They look pretty ordinary. That kind of "grandma's underwear" pink colour. I was hoping for something with dinosaurs on it. Never mind.

Then it occurred to me. Why not Wests Tigers branded Covid 19 reusable masks? A marketing coup. You wouldn't be caught dead without one.

But may that is just so you don't see they are missing half their teeth.

Maybe you should read some history books or are you the type that pulls statues down ... man kind has a very high tolerance to acceptable outcomes as history has shown . Yeah, lets follow Indonesia's example, or if as you said we shouldn't forget history and what has been acceptable to the the human race, lets sacrifice some people to the gods and maybe they will take this curse a way.

Time changes values and societies are different, the advance medical care we have now has resulted in a higher value being placed on life. That is why we have things like very strict WHS laws now where in the past people dying while building major projects was acceptable. A lot of people also don't believe in the fairytales of religion meaning their is no afterlife to soften the blow of the loss of a loved one.

Just because the human race as accepted high death tolls before does not mean we have to now.

There is a very strong need to FG. I find it pretty disgusting that you could potentially post a defamatory or inflammatory accusation out there without clarification.
