Who cares who they are missing or playing or not playing the pain is glorious..
I dont think the pain is glorious @Geo
What's the point in watching one sided matches, unless it's Wests Tigers thrashing the Eels of course.
I went to the SCG a couple of times when Bobby Simpson, Norm Oneill, Neil Harvey, Alan Davidson and other greats were playing.
Back then in the 'Good Old Days' the Poms would play warm up matches against various States allowing them to get a feel for our pitches
Now imo they are chucked in at the deep end with pitches that are prepared exactly the way that will suit Us best and disadvantage the Poms the most, giving Us an unfair advantage.
The reverse applies when We go to England obviously.
A cricket pitch is very small as compared to the Leichhardt Oval playing field for example.
So why cant games be played on a standardised drop in artificial pitch of some sort that can be used in every country for Test Matches etc.
That way there is no advantage to either side.
The players determine the outcome of each International standard match, not the pitch.
