I'm interested how he will be used. Battering ram ala JT or as a ball playing back rower. Or half!

Not much of a battering ram. He hid out wide and was lucky to make 5 runs a game. Most the time he would stop and submit upon initial contact.
Lawrence does not have his build, but did twice as much work and runs much better lines.

I have actually seen him put some strong defensive efforts, but you do not get it every week, and there lays the problem his form is all over the shop. Bellamy would have turned him into a real good forward, he would have been out of his comfort zone down South. Anyway I hope he goes well at Manly, he seems like a really good kid and never easy to follow a very successful father

If he is utilised in a manner which best suites his skills, he'll go well. I wish him all the best at the Eagles and no doubt Bob Fulton had something to do with his signing. I only hope now that Bayley stays with the club.

He'll probably end up being the Fulton anointed 'utility' on the NSW bench for Origin next year

Wests Tigers can confirm that Curtis Sironen has been granted a release from the final two years of his playing contract.

Sironen played 65 NRL games for the Club since making his debut in 2012, scoring eight tries and four goals.

The Dundas Shamrocks junior also represented City Origin on three occasions during his time at the Club.

The 23-year-old played eight NRL matches for Wests Tigers in 2016, while also featuring for the Intrust Super Premiership side on a number of occasions.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe thanked Sironen for his efforts during his time with the Club.

“On behalf of everyone at the Wests Tigers, I would like to wish Curtis all the best in the next chapter of his career,” Pascoe said. “Curtis has been with the Club for a number of years both through the juniors and in first grade.

“We wish him well in his future endeavours and appreciate his efforts while representing the Club,” he said.

Wests Tigers Head Coach Jason Taylor wished Sironen all the best at his new Club.

“Curtis has shown commitment on and off the field during his time at Wests Tigers,” Taylor said. “I wish him all the best in the future and would like to thank him for his efforts during his 65-game career with Wests Tigers.”
