How can possible recruits be beasts if they haven't played an NRL game ...or even shone at CC level ....a lot of posters set themselves up for disappointment

Jennings had a season like that before we signed him. Wingers try tallies are more a result of the game plan and inside backs. Johnson is a good finisher moreso than a bloke who will create something or do any hard work.

Jennings had a season like that before we signed him. Wingers try rallies are more a result of their game plan and inside backs. Johnson is a good finisher moreso than an bloke who will create something or fo any hard work.

I don't agree. Johnston has a heap of speed which means he's a threat from much further out. Jennings just catches and puts the ball down 5m out.

He has some pace but that’s his main strength, and he’s not going to have that express speed in 2-3 yrs. Atleast Nofa gives you some tough carries and an off load. Jennings was rubbish for us, I think the comparison is with his time at Souths.

Who are you talking about ? Re. Which player ? If it’s Simpkins , I don’t know if he’s a beast or not , I just know he’s a top tier junior . He’d be a 5 star recruit using other sports terminology. Whether that means he can make the step up I don’t know . For me that’s what it’s about . Recruit as many 5 star kids As you can get .

Johnston has lightning speed and good footwork. He’s not a rep level winger but he’s pretty good, certainly better than Jennings.

Can’t see the club letting Nofa leave before his contract ends and don’t see him pushing for an early release anyway. I’d much prefer to keep him for this year even if he signs elsewhere for 2022
