In the 14 years hes been coaching…. hes taken teams to the finals thirteen times.
In the 17 years weve existed... ....weve managed to make the finals three times.
No brainer.
Id love him here too...it wouldnt be easy, but it would be worth it imo

That is a good analogy, and well worth the risk.

OMG Yes. Except I'd go further and say it is barely a risk.

Our own fans saying No to Des must have contracted the dreaded psychiatric disease which is very infectious on here known as "WT inferiority complex". Its symptoms have been known to cloud judgment due to an unknown compulsion to settle for mediocrity…

Get well soon.

The risk I was referring to was the money involved, replacing JT with Des has no risk.

Atop the fence on this one, but leaning slightly toward giving Taylor a Farah free year to fulfil his plan for the WT.

Sign him up Tigers, he has a proven track record and we might get some decent players signing with us instead of the bargain basement players that no other team wants, and he might get rid of the players that shouldn't be in our team, and defiantly bring a winning culture to the club

I honestly cant see any improvement next year under Taylor i just hope the club are not stupid enough to give him an extension.Surely Taylor has to accept responsibility if he fails again next year.
I would like to have Des here next year but we all know it wont happen

Keep JT he can put the witches hats out.

I would imagine the odds are astronomical but I'd love to have Des as our coach. He's a winner and players play for him.

There's a plan? Tell us all about it, please.

Taylor is gradually sorting our list out. There are still a few holes and our performance in the early part of 2017 will determine who we keep. We have another year of pain and then I can see us being competitive.

To improve our defence, make players accountable and make the 8 in year 2, hang on a sec, we need a new a plan.

Bulldogs spent over $10m on their football department this year not including the cap.
I can't imagine WT having anywhere near that amount to spend on Des and his crew.

With our 'bargain basement ' players and one more point we would have finished being neighbours with the Dogies on the ladder. After all the upheaval we now need stability.

Get him in. He will turn our pack into monsters. After all, he was the coach that introduced the science of Dr Dank to the NRL.

Jim Dymock is still my diamond in the rough , I reckon if and when he gets an NRL head coaching job he will kill it

I've read over the years that he is highly regarded and I'm surprised he hasn't cracked a fg gig yet.

Didn't he have a care taker role for part of season?

Des will be at the dogs next year so mute argument

Ok then! Shhhhhh!

(Apologies…couldn't help it...it's just one of my favourite Aussie-isms. I also like Expresso and Snitzel.)

nice thought about dessie, but too many dollars methinks.

as happy said, jimmy dymock could be a possible replacement when the time comes.

i wonder if he applied last time the post was up.

I'm only going on memory , but I believe he was approached

I think he was asked to apply but money was an issue

Please correct me if that wasn't the case , it was a few years ago now
