Farah and Taylor

Has anyone heard from Robbie Farah. Is he happy with Taylor.
Are we gonna get another clash. Is he gonna pull his head in. And respect this coach?

I'd be stocked if we didn't hear from Farah until 1 week before the season starts. I dont want to know whether Farah approves of Taylor/Moss - it shouldn't matter.

I'm totally over the attention Farah seeks and gets from the media.. Moss and Taylor would do well IMO to either alleviate Farah of the captaincy or ban him from the media unless in an official, club santcioned interview.

Farah should get over the past and make it his duty to play the best footy he possibly can and leave the other crap out…

That's funny because plenty like you said he should have been in front of the media backing Potter or complained he didn't want to turn up for interviews.
Now he's suddenly turned into an attention seeker?
Personally haven't heard a peep out of him since the end of the season commenting on anything regarding the past coach or any views on the contenders.
As for Snapper asking if he will pull his head in and respect the coach…
Are you privy to his 'real' relationships with Sheens or Potter or just another one jumping on the wagon?

Just concerned about clashes of personality.
I feel Farah did not support Potter 100%.
Taylor did not get 100% support at souths. Getting punched out by his own player concerns me.

Don't think Farah and Taylor will be getting on the gloves anytime soon, Snapper.
Can't understand why can't people wait and see how we go without preempting either a disaster or a mutiny.

Maybe you're right.
Time will tell.

Get over it guys.

He will keep playing hard and well every week..

Im more worried about other guys letting the club down on the field each week.

Taylor should give Farah a 15min spell during a game early in the season. His re-action will tell
Taylor if he's on-board or not.

It would sure show Taylor was a dope unless Farah really needed the break or we were up by 30 points and he didn't want to take a chance on him being injured.
It would be childish to take him off just to prove a point… I'm sure they are both capable of communicating with each other.

That's what Potter did

Just a little test. And I'm not convince farah can honestly communicate with anyone

Farah cops a bad rap on this forum. Who really knows if any of it is true? In my view Farah did seem to have a sook, but the Buzz Rothfields of the world target him and paint him that way. JT is the coach. It's a new(er) era. We'll see what happens.

Well I'm just concerned that Mayer will target Farah through Taylor

I reckon that they might strip the captaincy of him to be honest , just got this feeling

Amen to that. It amazes me how many people can happily talk about how crap the Telegraph is then happily swallow their beat up bullsht when it matches their own prejudices. This season's Farah stuff basically rests on the honesty and integrity of various Telegraph hacks and Gorden bloody Tallis. Yet here's all our own fans lapping it up and jumping on the bandwagon against our own captain. Pathetic.

Incidentally, I think absolutely the worst thing Taylor could do is come into the club with a preordained 'hard man' mentality, that he's going to 'sort out the playing group' by benching people or publicly singling them out. I understand the desire for a more disciplined approach given what looks from the outside like a bit of a mess, but management isn't as simple as flicking the hard man switch and everyone jumping to attention.

Maybe Farah is a difficult man to manage. I suspect he probably is - though not in a way that wouldn't get him labelled "the ultimate perfectionist" or whatever if he happened to be onside with the media grubs who set the game's agenda. What a good manager will do is work with his more difficult reports to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes - not just start throwing round 'my way or the highway' garbage.

I love how people assume Farah is the embodiement of everything wrong at the club and why Potter was not given the opportunity to be re-employed by the club.

He wasn't sacked. His contract ended.

Just remember that.

The board decided and it has been stated as such in the news, that they made the decision not to have Potter as coach next year.

Guessing about the finer intricacies of what may have happened outside of the facts, is nothing more than fallacies people concoct to justify their unjustifiable opinion of someone.
