Farah to SOUTH SYDNEY in 2017..OFFICIAL..

Ennis had an option for 2017 but didn't take it up…Farah to Sharkies for 2017 then to ESL for 2 years...sounds like a real goer to me....I'm sure the Sharkies would agree to subsidize Farah's $950k with what they 'planned" to pay Ennis,

So do i , it will be an easier transition for him with the calibre of players they will have around him.

To get Farah next year at a discount for a year does nothing for em , they need to start exposing a young hooker to gain the experience required while they have a great squad.
 
Even if its false, there is a perception that Farah has clashed with Sheens,Potter and Taylor. I cant see a coach of a strong team risking his signature. Maybe at the peak of his career, but not now.

It will be a desperate coach like MacGregor or Brown that may see some value.

In a perfect world, Farah would finish with WT and be chaired off as a legend. That wont happen now for a million reasons. Some his doing, some certainly not his fault. Regardless, the stain has been left - even if Taylor was sacked tomorrow.

I see MASSIVE value for the Knights or Dragons. He would be a perfect fit as a mentor of a rudderless club for a year or two. We are going in a direction (regardless if you agree or not) so he doesnt fit WT, but those other two are going in circles in deep water. I even see an option at Parramatta.
 
Well, never thought I'd say this but Robbie would have some big shoes to fill if he signed with the Sharks, not only regarding on field duties.. Ennis has timed it perfectly, seems to have reached his peak, even that this age and the team is making a big charge for the minor premiership - good on him, a nice way to go out.
 
This would be a kick in the guts for Buzz, after years of bagging him out.

I have a recollection of hearing when Potter was coming in at coach that one of the prospective coaches said he was not too interested because Farah runs the place anyway. Not sure if it was Brown or someone else. But there is a common thread there isn't there as regards run-ins with coaches.

Sad to see a career end in this way. Potter told the club not to sign him for so long or for so much, but the "brighter heads" at the top (cough cough…) decided that Mick did not know what he was talking about.

I'd like a happy ending .. but won't hold my breath.
 
michael ennis is very good in front of a microphone- good luck to him.

on commentators- greg alexander is streets ahead - hope ennis copies brandys leads.

He's already started. There was an article from him last yr condemning the club for the Farah situation, when a yr before he criticized Farah running the club and the club needed to stand up to him.
