His 2nd half was safe. But seriously, how can anyone possibly pick him at fullback? I dont balme Fitzy, ive actually defended him and think he's done ok on the wing, but for gods sake, is Sheens a complete moron?

Seriously you guys need to actually watch his performance. The conditions were atrocious and he was in good position basically all night. He took the right option and was safe as houses plus he made some good runs.

Yes I would prefer to see Tuqiri or Lawrence there but compared to Ryan and Moltzen it was a step up.

LOL, he did what an average fullback should do and you are all applauding it as a billy slater type effort, he offered nothin on kick returns muffed everything up when he got involved in the play in the attacking zone.

gee he took a couple of bombs but ill point out that
1)missed a tackle on rogers that led to a try (yes i know 2 others did but fitzy wast last line and came up with air)
2)3 knock ons in the first half
3) offered nothing on kick returns
4) when trying to get involved in the attacking zone he cam up with a knock on another time he did the pretzle dance hes known for instead of shifting it to marshall.

Hes not the best winger at the club and he sure as hell isnt in the top 10 players that could play fullback,he did nothing tonight that an average fullback shouldnt do. dont overstate what he did

A couple of errors but was safe and cleaned up a few threatening situations from bombs and grubbers. Made some decent metres from dummy half and won a couple of penalties for the team. I would prefer to see others given a shot at fullback but credit to him for a good game.

pass. some errors. some good takes. best player is funny stuff though. praising him for things that a fullback should do. honestly thats the best ive seen from him in a LONG while. still, better options availalble

I congratulate you for a solid game at fullback. You were generally safe at the back in those horrid conditions and made decent metres. If anyone complains about your game today, they are a hater.

im not a hater ….but why move ryan .. and play a winger on the bench ... if he is selected , why not on the bench in a utility role ....once again brown was used for 5 minutes indicating yet another wasted selection ....

He was Shocking.

We are kidding outselves if we think we can mount any sort of challenge in this competition with a nuffy like Fitzhnery at fullback. Bad enough on the wing but fullback what a farce.

He caught a couple of bombs, big deal. Most fullbacks do. He also made some comical errors and a pathetic attempt at tackle on Rodgers.

Not his greatest fan, but to say he was shocking is just not true. give credit where it is due.
He took some difficult kicks under pressure - something we haven't seem to be able to do in the last 2 weeks (all season in fact) - do you not recall Marshall's attempt last week, or the 74th minute at Campbelltown when Ryan dropped a bomb that lost us the game?
Yes, he missed rogers - so did three others.
Yes, he dropped the ball a few times. so did plenty of others - did you not notice that it was bucketing down most of the night.
I'm sure Sheens only put him there as he did not want Daniella and Fitzy trying to defend the right hand side. but he did OK at fullback. Made metres out of dummy half, even tried to chime into the attack off Marshall (admittedly, dropped a pass off Marshall when in a hole).
He's not our solution, but i'm not gonna bag him for his game tonight.
