There’s some real talent in that Magpie side. Time will tell how they go as a team but they should be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

the back row looks good to me mate. Stirling Faumui has played a lot of halfback but now moves to an edge where he will be able to use his size plus his ballplaying ability. Pheonix Godinet and Peter Taai both had solid seasons a year young last year and should build on last year's showings. Maddax Fui in the front row was given a pretty sizeable wrap by Isdale in the preseason.

the size of the forwards last year was the biggest issue for the HM boys. Fui and Moors should counteract that.
