Wests getting beat 24-6 at half-time.

Isdale has struggled badly for weeks now and Large is a freak but needs to run the ball more.

But yeah, unless he has a massive year in Matts next year, Conti is definitely the best halfback prospect coming through, not Isdale.

Conti looks pretty calm and collected, good kicking game, and had the ability to create something. And he's an excellent goal kicker.

Isdale is solid but unspectacular, doesn't control games like Conti does.

Conti is a year older than Isdale/Large right? SG Ball next year (hopefully maybe some nrl pre season stuff like they did this year for some juniors).

Yep, second year of Matts for Conti, first for Large and Isdale.

Agree, hopefully he does the pre-season (or at least some sessions) with NRL at the end of this year.

Leaked too many 1st half points. Not good enough in the end to overcome that margin. Will be must win games for the next 2 weeks before the bye to be any chance of sneaking into finals now.
 
Just saw Balmain vs Bunnies games are on NSWRLTV next week aswell. No more Magpies games to round out the regular season matches.
 
Balmain trailing 10-0 at half time. Was 0-0 but a few late errors gave Souths chances to score. They have a big winger, our backs are tiny as usual, a chip kick and their guy grabs it while our winger looks confused... So frustrating. Then a dive over from a metre out with a minute to go

Still in this though

Conti's defence has been very strong.

Didn't see the 1st half, but so many errors (dropped balls, kicking out on the full) in this 2nd half and shooting ourselves in the foot.

In saying that, I haven't seen us get a single call our way.
