You have to do the basics well to make it in the NRL
He struggles with defence and high balls ....not little struggles .....throw in his lack of size .....I just cant see him making it .....waste of time and effort

He needs to be getting some confidence back in the Reggies… for the rest of the year …and then he will have another offseason to work on his defence and strength and they can see how he is going then…

He isn’t at NRL level just yet … and they don’t want to totally destroy him by playing him now where he will be targeted by the opposition all game

Like anything at this level, I’m not gunna necessarily say it’s “ easy” but It’s a pretty important skill to have if you are presenting as a utility and providing a fullback option for the team…
