I was watching Tottenham flog Man U yesterday and it's interesting a parellel, the commentators talking about Man U fans desperate to sign new players because their current side wasn't getting the job done. Same deal in this thread. JAC would be nice sure, but we always have to remember we are not a consistently successful side, nor do we have any famous or big-money owners, and therefore we go into all negotiations at a disadvantage to other clubs.
The primary concern for Tigers right now is setting a stable platform for the coach(es) to continue to develop the ability of the roster we have, then value-add players that are available.
Interesting you bring up Spurs as Jose is really starting to change the culture (followed Tottenham 40 + years)...the amazon doco has been really revealing (telling them openly they are too soft / nice...and he wants ___s on the pitch.
In a lot of ways it made me think of us watching it. How hard it is to change a culture. I can't think of any other manager who could have gone in there and told that dressing room that...
