I said this when we got Laurie. Twals a workhorse and should be in the prop rotation. Mybe has played in the middle before and has done a good job plus he adds a bit of variation to our attack.

Think you want your best defensive player starting just to make sure you don't lose the middle early, these new rules it's so important to be on top early.

We are loads better with him on. Could see him doing well in a lock-type Connor Watson role in time, assuming Simpkins comes good.

I must say that is a good option moving forward certainly bodily wise and speed wise could be a master stroke with Jake at hooker .

Did you guys watch the game today? When Parras forwards were monstering us up the middle, was your immediate reaction, I wish we had one less big guy on the field and an extra sub 90kg bloke defending in the middle?

True but that’s why he’s scored 5 tries in 4 games.

He does have "white line fever" and that is definately something he needs to remove out of his game.I am sure this is one of the reasons Madge still has him honing his skills in reggies

I agree 100%, been saying for it 2 seasons, I wish Madge would do something about it

Some of the 9's in other teams are looking for a 40/20 whenever they get to their own 40m line. Tigers should be doing this too, even if you don't get the 40/20 you get good field position and it makes the opposition drop defenders back on the 3rd and 4th tackles which means there are less defenders in the line.

Hope you mean at lock, he would have to be in 17 at front or second row.
