I think there would have been a lot more understanding among the supporters, and a lot more vitriol aimed at the club if these guys signed their contracts with their new clubs then stayed silent. Let their actions speak. The fact instead they have carried on like divas with their self importance has eliminated any kind of empathy that most would have felt for them.

For what it's worth, I think the thread should stay open for a little while longer. Surely there are a few more articles coming.
I've gotta say, this whole contract saga has really been disappointing. Tedesco is (was?) my favourite player but he really hasn't carried himself well through this. I fully accept his decision to leave, particularly given that he's been so consistently strong on the field and the results haven't translated all that well for him. He truly is a rare talent. Anyone hoping he might regress under a team with a better forward pack is kidding themselves.
But bagging the club while he's still contracted here yet being the main reason the Tigers are a media beat up is ridiculous. Stringing the club along and then trying to blame the club is unacceptable. He certainly hasn't handled this well.
I personally feel that Moses' decision after having his contract pulled is what lost both Teddy and Woods. I still think we were in the race up until that point. Maybe they figured their chances of winning a premiership here weren't going to get any better if Moses was leaving.
Still no excuse for making up stories though.

Really don't get the "I don't want to talk about this anymore, so close the thread" mentality. Why should others who have a point of view to express suffer when you could easily just not open it if you don't want to talk about it. Whether you like it or not, these guys will be a talking point for the rest of 2017\. You don't want to discuss it, don't open the thread. Pretty simple.
