In all my days, a charge of eye gouging starts with the victim player making a report to the ref, who then asks "Are you sure you want to go on with this?" and then it's referred directly to the judiciary.Confused about this. Either it's an eye gouge or nothing.
I think even if he fights it, it's a bigger fine, not a suspension.
So may as well fight it. You don't want priors.
This time, no whinge from the Qld player, no on field dramatics and Luai facing a charge of generic Contrary Conduct.
That's about all this is, a careless act.
