Doubt you will get any support for this idea.
Why should we be trying to create room to shoehorn guys into the top team who haven’t earned it?
Agree, don’t think having two inexperienced halves (and yet to be proven) is a good plan

Luai came from a Ferrari to a Toyota, or penthouse to the s.it house , I reckon this season we will see a new beast ,a full pre season in the #6 no distractions (Lloyd Christmas) ..and we will be saying pay packet justified ..

I know its more fantasy talk.. i just think the way he could play in that role, he'd be the perfect ball playing runner around the middle creating space... and has a kicking game.. we'd effectively have 3 x halves on the field at the same time, which id see as an advantage with the pace of today's game
A 13 aside from ball playing needs to make 100+ mtrs and make 25+ tackles with another 20 tackle involvements a game.
He wouldn’t be perfect he would be terrible.
Playing him as 5/8th on the left is his position, the one that adds the most value to us.
Batman even said it himself that he is best suited to being Robin a few weeks ago.
i imagine he'd find space quite easy around the ruck, meaning a few carries that are 15+ metres... so the 100+ metres doesn't concern me... but the defence yeah..

He said previously Batman was the wrong term because he did it on his own its a team sport the quality of your top 30 will in large part dictate your success.

For a guy who has never been a forward and trained as a forward to then just make 15mtrs a few times every game. It’s not that simple.

Nar he's a 6...., he's not built for lock and it doesn't suit his style of play BUT if we find ourselves in the unlikely position of not playing finals footy this year I'd be happy to see if there's potential while blooding the younger fellas in the half's . Couple of dead rubbers at the end of the year.

Looking at the starting point for choosing a lock does Luai have the size for it, I know Latu might fill in at 13 for a while but he's not a long-term proposition be it he's more solid.
I'm going to keep Jolls happy here and suggest Adam will end up there eventually, this year probably not, Latu would have to remain sound and Doueihi add 5kg of muscle.
Looks like the likelihood of buying one from another club is not in the clubs plans it would have happened by now you would think.
