What really hijacks these threads is one person posts one post that others don't like and then there are 27 posts from 5-6 self appointed moral white knights and forum freedom fighters piling on the guy who made the one post and then patting each other on the back for piling. If the original poster dares to post a second follow up post explaining themselves then the cabal swings into action with another round and soon you have 2 posts from the person they dont like and 54posts from the white knights and the person posting 2 posts will be blamed for all 56 posts.

You complained that GNR was "hijacking" the thread by expressing his OPINION.

I merely gave my opinion on what really hijacks threads and sat back whilst my prophecy was breathed to life.

It actually is. One of reasons the forum has mellowed drastically the last few months.

I dont see any problem with posting opinions on here. But if you want to continually argue a point till others agree with you when clearly they dont - or have a different view - then it's up to you how many posts you want engage in to convince them.

Thing for me now is , if he doesn't come next year it's a massive let down.

I do put him on ignore, but you still are aware of his presence. You know how? About 10 topics in my most recent disappear because he spams every thread, It’s far beyond scrolling past a couple posts you find annoying.

My guess (and that’s what it is) is he’s signed and subject to cooling off… panthers have said they’ll waive it but Luai wants Xmas to finalize what he’s doing before panthers do that. Either that or it’s ready to sign with panthers waiving cooling off, but he’s having a good think before sign off .

Big decision for him .
