Thats the best news I have heard all day!!!! The other one in the picture, Joel Clinton, maybe but gee he is like Martin Lang straight up the middle without any variation in the kit bag.

Thank god that lowe is out of the question..
I think that Joel Clinton is the exact type of player our forward pack needs. He is a good hard prop who tucks the ball under his arm and runs the ball straight.

Second that. Isn't this the same guy that did a Danny Williams (Ex-Storm) style king hit on someone a few seasons back?

The one hope of getting lima was and still is homesickness ,talk of salary cap issues is bs.why.simple,its the melbourne storm inglis, slater smith cronk e.tc e.t.c every year they keep these players. Why did johnson leave salary cap, wrong.Desire too live in europe.Folau left last year, salary cap,b.s.To move to brisbane to be coser to family melbourne despite popular belief do not operate under a salary cap.trust me. :deadhorse:

They don't keep them all King, Folau, Johnson, Smith etc have all left more will, they aren't exempt from the salary cap restrictions they are just lucky to be a 1 state team which opens the door to alot of off the book deals to be sorted for their players, the salary cap does bite them considering they have won the comp twice in the last few years they would be under the microscope more than other teams and to think otherwise would be silly. They clamped down on the Bulldogs who were on fire and to think they wouldn't do it again would be a joke.

Dear Mighty Tiger,
Straight from the horses mouth.

Maybe any of the cronulla props might be a chance! Heard a rumour they are in dire financial circumstances and that there maybe an announcement on their future soon.

what, collapse as a club?

Here's my thoughts..

Storm signed Lowrie some time ago… Johnson was always leaving.
Storm sign Kite.... Lima is leaving.

Lima to play for the Tigers in 2010 despite popular thought

ROFL. Have you thought about the fact the Storm let him go instantly and didn't put up a fight for a very key player in the success the club has had over the last 4yrs. 1mil over 3yrs is more than he would earn in 5yrs at the Storm, to even suggest Money wasn't apart of his focus point would be laughable.

Johnson said its the hardest decision he had to make but did it in 2weeks, normally those really tough decisions are made over a period of time not a short timeframe.

Lima talk had been around for a while and it was him or Johnson, they were in trouble. The Storm helped Turner to stay but then a few years later after they had success for the Storm to come out saying they couldn't even offer anything to Chambers who wanted to cancel his union deal says it more. Remember that not only do they have to deal with Contract payments for next year under the cap but also all payments made during this seasons finals which would be larger than the year they won the GF you would think.

Each to their own, we will have to agree to disagree on this one I think.

Seriously!!!

I doubt they'd shell out that much for anderson knowing they'll need the $$$ to retain their stars… but whoa! Thats massive...
