Maybe any of the cronulla props might be a chance! Heard a rumour they are in dire financial circumstances and that there maybe an announcement on their future soon.

I like Luke douglas plenty of fire, consistent and has a good work rate. :righton: :righton:

Him and Snowden are both great players.

ROFL. Have you thought about the fact the Storm let him go instantly and didn't put up a fight for a very key player in the success the club has had over the last 4yrs. 1mil over 3yrs is more than he would earn in 5yrs at the Storm, to even suggest Money wasn't apart of his focus point would be laughable.

Johnson said its the hardest decision he had to make but did it in 2weeks, normally those really tough decisions are made over a period of time not a short timeframe.

Lima talk had been around for a while and it was him or Johnson, they were in trouble. The Storm helped Turner to stay but then a few years later after they had success for the Storm to come out saying they couldn't even offer anything to Chambers who wanted to cancel his union deal says it more. Remember that not only do they have to deal with Contract payments for next year under the cap but also all payments made during this seasons finals which would be larger than the year they won the GF you would think.

Each to their own, we will have to agree to disagree on this one I think.

Yes we will.

From the SMH

Meanwhile, the sudden departure of Dallas Johnston to Super League has had an impact on Jeff Lima's switch from Melbourne to Wests Tigers, with the Storm no longer prepared to release the Kiwis Test prop.
>
Lima was due to rejoin the Tigers on a two-year contract but the move has fallen through after Johnston's decision to join Catalans alleviated the Storm's salary-cap problems.

Clinton no thanks,Cashmere or ashton sims yes any other names guys I would rather us sign no-one than a waste of money.Let me throw this thought up if the tigers released a player and with limas spare cash they could make a play for matt orford and probably sign him dont know how I feel about this your thoughts :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:

He is not coming, (no big deal in my opinion) so can we move on. Let's talk about Greg Inglis, he is not coming also.

Matt orford currently has no club and with the release of a player such as daniella we could get him now that wouldnt be the worst move this recruitment team has made.

He was reportedly on $300-400K at Manly, do you want to pay that much for him with options like Moltzen/taumata available?

The club isn't interested in Orford, we're well covered in the halves anyway.

Not a fan of Orford. He is not loyal to anything except $$$$

What a load of crap, just because he decides to go play overseas, has nothing to do with being loyal..HE completed his contract with the eagles,,i say good luck to him..

your right tomcat.

with orford 3 things he does possess is a good kicking game, good goalkicker and adds experience to a backline which is 3 things the tigers were lacking last year.

I agree with both comments here…but wonder what would be most peoples view if Benji left the WT's aftre his current contract expires....WT's have been very loyal to Benji over the years with all his injuries, yes, he's returning the loyalty, but in my view his loyalty to the Tigers should extend beyond his current contract....to at least another 3 years....

Aren't they ALL in it for the $$$$ these days…....Loyalty....
