Watched on Bar TV @ancient_magpie late last night after commitments at the races.

The break-out game for Logan Deininger (Brookes). 3 clutch plays in the last 10 mins won us the game.

Also thought Max Taotua, Lanyon, Mitch Taotua, Haywood & Mataale were very good.

The speed in the middle & ball playing of Lanyon makes such a difference and he does a lot of cleanup defensive work around the ruck too.

I think a big focus for Shane Sultana will be stemming momentum against us. Cost us last week against the Wahs and in the 1st 16 mins of the 2nd half, we had the ball for 1 set if my counting was correct.

But on the flip, at least we turned things around in the final quarter of the game. Maybe slim hope of making the top 5.

It’s under estimated how beneficial a strong loud voice from the bench can be.
