Keiran Foran

GEE WE ALL NEED TO CALM DOWN, just because he is well known and earns heaps of money we all dont have to crawl up his rear end. i have had many mates who have gone thought the same thing yet they dont get the support of a entire football club paid for as long as u need, in real life u go speak to ur best friend or family suck it up and get back into it. i know i have put may self out there to cop it, but really we the little people dont get anywhere near what he will get and we survive.

The best way to help a person (football star or ordinary joe) with similar trouble as Foran is for a mate/s to listen to, understand and provide support to the person. It is so much better than throwing thousands of dollars at the problem in a bid to solve it.

Apparently he just had his second child with now former partner. They have since broken up and according to what ive heard was not very amicable. Didn't turn up to training all week and has checked into hospital. I must say if this has been going on for a while he has held himself very well. Never like hearing these things about anyone having psychological problems. Hope he comes out of it ok.

It was because his second child was not his.

How do you know…?.you cant go on saying things like that...and if it is true...consider keeping it to yourself next time...

**It is understood Foran has been living with his sister, Natalie, in Glebe since the long-standing relationship with the mother of his two children, Rebecca Pope, ended.**

Would be absolutely devastating to find that the child you had assumed to have Fathered was not yours, I know that relationship breakdowns can be very stressful and I hope that the rumours we have heard are not true, I have known a few blokes over the years that have taken their own life after finding their partner has cheated on them but fair dinkum, seek help don't do it please, please don't.

I still remember when I was much, much younger being at a magpies game at Campbelltown. The opposition kicker was lining up from the fence and the crowd was giving it to him (can't remember the kicker), his mate appeared in the crowd, telling him what a good game he was having and how he could kick this easy. He then asked how the kickers family was going andas he was lined up, how was the wife. As the run up started next line was (how's the wife) and my kids. Kick missed, shame Keiran will not be playing at ctown this year, will see him at Anz.

You really give old magpie fans a great name with posts like this. Goose

Foran's gone overseas to rehab. He's very good mates with Mitchell Pearce, so i would'nt be surprised if he's gone to the same Thailand facility as Mitch did.

Wests supporter, my post wasn't ment as a put down to Foran.
The rehab facility is supposed to be one of the best and he will definitely get the best help available to help him deal with his problems.
He comes across as a great human and i wish him a speedy recovery.

If it hasn't been confirmed, Shutup!

By Kyle and JackieO therefore it is a fact

Most likley is fasle if they stated it.

Can we please refrain from the speculation and rubbish …if it was anyone in your family in similar situations you would appreciate it...

Im sure Foran will be back in his own time..a class act on and off the field...mental health is not something to joke about IMO...glad he is getting the best help possible...

Some just don't understand that Mental health is not something remotely funny, it's in line with Bullying and harassment.

Not the nicest thing to have to witness, a Constable telling a Family member to identify there partners body ( through suicide).
As most would know Mental health is a serious issue if left untreated.

As you said Geo….I think everyone should respect Forans privacy as The Parramatta Club has asked to do so.

Wishing Foran all the best .

BP I get the impression from these posts the consensus is pretty much the contrary to the professional athlete pedestal: the point is we are all human regardless of any perceived public standing.

If you think money makes it all so much more bearable you are obviously lucky enough to have had very little if any exposure to depression or other mental illness. Yes, he is in a position to receive excellent help but I think more along the lines that it is great he can get the support he needs, unfortunate not everyone can; rather than not everyone gets the necessary treatment so he is nothing to worry about…

So I don't know if this is true but I have heard the story of what happened to For an and apparently the NRL are keeping a lid on it.

Its massive news and I feel for For an and if it's true the player from his ex club is absolute scum.

Pfft… Yeh right

Better for the whole story to see the full light of day, rather than continued rumour and innuendo. The damage has already been done, so just get it out there and then done with.
