Firstly it's a news ltd article and they enjoy nothing more than always putting out the worse case scenario about our club. Still even if it is exactly true is Mick a coach that will lead us to a premiership in the next 2-5 years? It is pretty obvious we have the talent to be competing for that in the next few years and we need to make sure we keep those players and have the right coach to get us there. I like all the other fans have no idea how Mick communicates with the players but at the end of the day coaching is a job in communication and if that is not being done well then it is a worry.
Conducting a review just to fire him… why bother club could have just told him he wasn't needed. Based on the way the club has been run in the last few years some sort of top to bottom review was necessary.
Mick might be getting a bit of a rough deal but I doubt the club is going to ditch a coach that they genuinely thought was a chance to taking us to a premiership. We need to make sure we have a coach who can develop and ensure we hang onto these players we have. We have a massive opportunity of being the next consistent top 4 team and we need to have a coach that the players want to play for.
What a waste of 3 paragraphs.

I disagree. It puts a good perspective on things in my opinion. Successful clubs make the tough decisions when needed. Brisbane with Griffin etc. Warriors are better for their change, as are St George. We want the right coach to lead us to a successful few years and if the club at this time feel he can't, with the review and input from other sources (CEO, players, assistant coaches) then I support it.
