Terry Hill wasn't with us long but he was a good and aggressive centre.Hill & Whatuira for mine.
The whole world will be watching Makasini, hope he doesn't get stage fright.Early doors- Kev McGuiness is probably underrated for what he brought.
Hill, Whatuira & Lawrence would be the top options.
Elford played above his ability but was solid.
Ayshford was good for a short while.
I suspect Makasini might make us forget all of them.
Did Terry Hill really do that much at our club?Terry Hill, Blake Ayshford, Paul Whatuira, Shane Elford all say hello.
Damn it Makasini, rip in.I suspect Makasini might make us forget all of them.
Yep Dean Collis counts for something.John Wilson & Dean Collis probably were in the conversation.
If he hadn't thrown it all away, Tim Simona is probably top 3.
Terry was good for a couple of seasons better than what we had at the time, Tim Simona could have risen higher if he wasn't a gambler he had express pace, disappointing to hear in another thread that Olam was hobbling around at training, yeah agree centres are a worry really hope Makasini shows something in the future think we might have to buy a couple in the meantime Taylan if available and 1 other.Did Terry Hill really do that much at our club?
Sure at manly, they will remember Jamie Lyon and Matai... then remember Terry Hill.
Blake Ayshford, yea he deserves that other spot way more then Kevie N... Not dissing Naiqama, but he seemed to be filler here.
Ok I saw very little of Whatuira and Elford. They don't ring a bell at all, Whatuira seemed to be injured around 2006 and active around 2005....
All in all, damn it we need talent to shine in our Centers Particularly. Else we will be raising a glass to Rowdy forever more.
Paul Whatuira won premiership with tigers and penrith,he probably ly has to get one centre spotDid Terry Hill really do that much at our club?

Was a key player in the premiership side of 2005, after coming from the winning Penrith side. Somewhat underrated but very effective.Paul Whatuira won premiership with tigers and penrith,he probably ly has to get one centre spot
Chris Lawrence the other
White legs wasnt much chopJohn Wilson & Dean Collis probably were in the conversation.

What about the gambler?Someone did the "greatest Wests Tigers side ever" for 2025...
For Centre's we had:
Chris Lawrence (naturally)
and
Kevin Naiqama ??
Look and no offense to Kevie, he played a good game in Newcastle. But here he was, rather average.
Then I think... No one other then Lawrence actually stakes a claim to the spot.
Sure if you move Tim Moltzen or Pat Richards or Taquiri into the Center position which they were not known for... Beau Ryan was really a wing and a club wing, not exceptional at all.
Other then Lawrence, we haven't had a center really perform.
You could perhaps stretch John Morris, but he wasn't really a center for many games for us...
The situation with Simona is/was sad. He was a dumbass and did a really stupid thing. He really could have kicked on.Terry was good for a couple of seasons better than what we had at the time, Tim Simona could have risen higher if he wasn't a gambler he had express pace, disappointing to hear in another thread that Olam was hobbling around at training, yeah agree centres are a worry really hope Makasini shows something in the future think we might have to buy a couple in the meantime Taylan if available and 1 other.
The biggest thing Hill did for the club was to bag out the potential signing of Bellamy as coach. Thanks Tezza!Did Terry Hill really do that much at our club?

Not very bright though. He bet on players he was marking to score try’s, when he had Noffa and Naiqama as a defensive duo on the other side of the field. He could have retired early and bought a mansion in Maui putting money on the centre’s and wingers marking up against those two.I liked Simona very talented
Simona's highlights reel on Youtube is outstanding. I liked him as well and with Lawrence were two of the best WTs centres.White legs wasnt much chop
Collis a bit better
I liked Simona very talented
So Bula, Galvin, Pole, Koroisau, T May, Luai are crap?🤔Our left edge always used to be lethal no matter where we sat on the ladder.
Tuiaki, Lawrence, Daniela, Simona, Richards- they all did their best work on that edge.
Now our team is a lot more balanced and we are crap all across the park.
