Bailey HaywardHaywood is the dogs current 14. not to be confused with our own.
Excellent young player who can also play in the halves.Haywood is the dogs current 14. not to be confused with our own.
Yah I'd be shocked if there's not some unhappy people at the Dogs over this. It's just so odd - they genuinely don't need Galvin. This very risky from the Bulldogs. They are in 1st and now want to change their halvesz especially if Galvin and Burton are the choice as they aren't natural 7s
Sorry Hayward to hookerHaywood is at the WTs until end of 28. I assume you mean Haywood at hooker for us with TDS future uncertain?
Be great if he started in second grade, as the Magpies play Canterbury in a couple of weeks 👍Who said they will change their halves? Galvin likely starts on the bench.
there's more than just 2 .. "weak gutted mongrel dogs" .. with the Canterbury Bulldogs setup .. !!I'm just thinking:
"Now Canterbury has two weak gutted dogs!" 🤣
Only 5 months of contract year left at 700k works out just under 300k. The interesting thing is they have Leo Thompson signed from next year as well - you would think they will have to let a few go.That is a bloody good point, to get Galvin for the remains of this season would be costing them around $400.000.
So with that team, how would they have any spare cap money. You would have to wonder ????.
Unless there is contra payments to the player or manager 🤔Am I missing something here?
Don’t managers get paid as a percentage of their players contract?
If so, Moses (who if you believe most on this forum) has instigated this whole sorry saga, so he himself, could get less money 🤔
Doesn’t the way it’s played out, now suggest that the manager was just doing what the player requested him to do?
As I said at the start - Am I missing something here? 🤷♂️
Yeah but if it was about the dollars, far easier to sign the huge Wests deal 🤷♂️Unless there is contra payments to the player or manager 🤔
Unless there's some huge third party deals in place which, given the unlimited funds they seem to have at Belmore for their salary cap, might be the case.Yeah but if it was about the dollars, far easier to sign the huge Wests deal 🤷♂️
It was as soon as Sheens was sacked that he started asking to be released.I rewatched the whole Bloke in a Bar interview recorded just before the PMs 13 game which LG made in 24.
It might just be my take but you get a sense that he was just treading water at Wests and his interest in the side waned when Sheens was sacked and Benji was named as coach.
Your missing the part where his manager organised "other payments" just like he did at Parramatta before telling players to lie to the integrity unit before being caught and suspended from the game. Make no mistake it'll be 700k on the cap and 300 - 400k from uncle Laundie in some roundabout way. And honestly if they can get away with it good for them. We've been fighting this uphill battle with the clubs with the financial backing for 2 decades, what have we done to give us that kind of ability. We need to get with it and get creative. Galvin wanted out but that's not saying that young halfback the dogs have can't be enticed, if cash money is needed to entice him go for it. If you can't beat them join them.Am I missing something here?

Spot on, Ciraldo turned the job down cause it wasn't set up and ready for him to take over. Benji didn't give a toss, he got in and just had a crack, he wasn't afraid and we are improving, everyone can see it. If Ciraldo was such a better coach why not take on the challenge like Benji did.Benji
Mahoney gone, wouldnt be surprised if the try and poach TDS.Also been told Mahoney will be gone from Dogs and Haywood to play 9
