OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277

This will be the next media inflamed drama. Pick the side on form. Latu needs to put together a good month in reserve grade before being considered.
Maybe a week or two in KOE..keep things calm..but need to see what Latu has to offer, because were gonna need a new half next year in all likelihood one way or another, and assess whether Latu and /or Bud are good enuff
Buds on show at Rabbits,,,Latu we really dont know

Bud is doing some nice things over at Souths and is receiving good exposure to top grade through a Bennet coached system. All good things for us.
Latu will come good. Hopefully we have time to get him over his injuries and bring him in slowly.

Credit where credit is due but that tackle on Hazelton was top class and shows he clearly wants to be in the team..

What I cannot work out is WHY, why leave the club when it is clearly on the rise, A lot of his mates are here, he is the main vocal point, the club has put all these top line players around him to succeed and he was going to be paid extremely well.. I still believe this is all him Managers work and slowly talking him and his parents into a move but I think he will regret it.

I think we will keep him this year and when he signs elsewhere in Nov we will release him early IF we get something we want in return. Thats gives Latu or someone else the off season with Laui to build combos .

Only way Galvin would be able to stay is if he is willing to play for 200k a year, Richo pretty much said the money we had for him is tied up in other players now.
That is my take on the whole matter-----didn't see or want to see the written offer $5mil plus.
Why not?----------Because it was a waste of time?
He has signed elsewhere already [but kept under wraps until Nov. 1]. Them's the rules.
Richo knows it; by the way it was handled by the whole Moses saga;
So Richo's press release was to clear the air on the WT stance. ie. No early release! Up you Mr Moses.
Next step Moses trying for an early release: Bad coach, bullying etc. Stick to your guns Richo.
I wish it was different, but that's the way I see it unfolding.
BUT now we have clean air space, with freed up money to go to the open market and buy the players in positions we need to strengthen. And players now more attracted to what we are building, our aims and a decent management.
Looking forward to our progress up the ladder.

Coogee Bay hotel mate ❤️ It was a loooooong drive back to Old Mt Druitt, even longer when you had to go all the back roads to avoid the Booze Bus! 😂😳🤭
Bing from the Druitt did you also get to the Kerb abd Gutter (Comb and Cutter) in Blactown?

I know his kicking game was pretty average in the 2nd half but so was Trindall’s in the first half that breeze didn’t give any favours, in saying that I agree with the rest of your statement, definitely could of gave the points to someone else. We need someone with a boot
I couldnt believe Trindall kept putting them high. It killed them with field position... Put it low and find the touch line... reset... get field position... seemed like 101 to me... but what do I know haha

I thought the same yesterday.
But then again, he hadn't played in a game like that at Leichardt and won...
He must bleed blue and yellow... surely... otherwise how do you not want to be a part of that sort of environment???

There is no doubt Galvin will be a good NRL level player for a long time and at present he is one of our best 17 players so we would be mad not to pick him. Although I think we probably got lucky when he knocked us back as we were going to throw a large chunk of our cap at player who’s contract value was determined by media hype rather than actually on field achievements. At this stage it is very debatable he will rise to the level of an elite player. Anyway I see a million dollars a year can probably fix two problems instead of one

Mate you have to think about his age and on that basis, he projects to be an elite player in 3-5 years. Be very surprised if that doesn’t include state/country.

And we have latu Fainu

Injury free he will be a gun

Time to move on

Was pretty average yesterday outside the offload to SF.

One thing he does well is he is a competitor who follows the play and is always there. But I thought his kicking was very poor (his last two were diabolical), and his other last play options were very average. I like him, but he is not a million $ player and I am not sure he has the assets to make him one.
