even then....not 6 or 7.Except in Origin when he’s pushed into the centres by the old, broken down latte sipper.

Mitch is under 6 foot....Guessing Mitch is about 6’2’
Sounds like a (taller) Trent Barrett clone once he fills out. I’d be happy with that outcome.
Not a half???View attachment 9069
This guy's 6'4" and still manages to have a little bit of acceleration and speed.
197? That’s 6’5 1/2.Mitch is under 6 foot....
Galvin is literally 15cm taller than Moses (and most NRL halves). 197cm and 85kgs, until he gets to at least 90kgs he won't play NRL.
But otherwise there are a lot of similarities with Fittler, which is exciting, but his height and build is the only real difference at this stage
Only similar size half playing is Drew Huchinson, 6.4 and 97kgMitch is under 6 foot....

Nah..someone who reckons they're "close to the club"...you played golf with The Mole?
Nah..someone who reckons they're "close to the club"...
Unfortunately manly are owned by Moses, incl the coach...theyre definitely gonna test the kids loyalty, which is why were attempting to provide a pathway for him
The irony is they believe Brooks will be Galvins mentor....!
"Let me show you the fine art of dying on the 5th holding the ball or should you be forced to kick , how to make sure to peg it out on the full"He'd go okay over there.
Brooksy can show him the ropes.
Sorry if this starts something.
If I was a good young half coming through and someone tried to sell that to me I’d be breaking the pen in half and running out the door.Nah..someone who reckons they're "close to the club"...

You're not sorry. Haha. He'd go okay over there.

Agree - in fact I think they will have this worked out within the first six months. I also think they will get a good idea with Sullivan and Fainu as well. From there they will (I hope) make very attractive offers to whoever they think is worth keeping before November. All three may not work out, but the club has time up its sleeve before they have to make a decision. In the next 12 months or so while he is under contract Benji will have worked out whether Galvin is a keeper or not
Sullivan and Fainu are signed for 4 years - why would we be doing anything before November 2024?Agree - in fact I think they will have this worked out within the first six months. Maybe the Boston Celtics need a halfback. Tigers website 190cm.Mitch is under 6 foot....

It’s a bit unrealistic to think they don’t have a plan.Lets be fair on Galvin's ability the kid can play and will be a first grader but he needs time to develop Physically
and that is at least 12 months away. Hopefully Benji and West Tigers have their plans in place for his development.
and you're not wrong. You're not sorry. Haha.
He will most likely take the usual course that most RL players take over a 2-300 game career. Not a half???
Maybe but that’s not 100%. If he’s trained to be more aerobic rather than just bulking up. He should be specialised in sprint training rather than just straight muscle mass. I take your point, if we don’t do the hard yards in his development speed can be lost.Clontarf actually explained it well. Galvin is a skinny kid. Way to skinny for NRL or probably even KOE. He hasnt even played Flegg yet. In order to survive NRL he needs to put on a lot of muscle mass. On a 6'4" frame by the time he build sufficient muscle to survive, he is well over 100kg and this will definitely impact his speed and acceleration and will not be suited for halves.
