correct me if i'm wrong but the tigers haven't signed any significant player recently have they? Which would seem strange. Perhaps that points to our eggs being in the LM basket.

or we just haven't signed anyone with all our cap space for 2020 and don't intend to use the money. nor have i seen the tigers linked to anyone? Season kicks off in 8-10 weeks

That’s because there are no significant players apart from Mitchell off contract! There is no one else to pursue!

Tigers have whiffed on a few. Pretty much anyone who’s off contract at the end of next season is up for grabs now.

They (Souths ) are supremely confident. A mate from their forum reckons Tigers have organised a final meeting tomorrow with Lattrell for one last dip. They are trying to get their deal done ASAP to kill that offer.

I would love to see the smiles wiped off their faces at the last minute.

i just had a look, my god its no wonder their fanbase has the worst rep in the game. what a bunch of entitled so and sos. I thought posters on our site claimed inside info, every second person on there claims it. There are literally posters on there saying we're offering Latrell $1.4mil and he's going to them for $600k!

So let's say we miss out on LM. What are our plans for fullback and hooker for 2020?

Madge is probably going through all the fast food restaurants in the UK trying to find Tui.

I doubt it!!!!

Don't hold your breath mate, and don't expect miracles, you will probably come back to the signings of Johnston and Gagai

I hope that your post was a bit of sarcasm, because if that happens Madge and Pascoe will cause a riot.

I wouldn't take a single player from Souths.

How about Cookie
Or is he not good enough
Maybe Doueihi
Or Murray
That's 3 I would take any day of the week
All 3 are very good players and certainly in a much better head space then Mitchell
We all know Latrell is a great player but this must be taking a toll on him
I hope he gets it sorted soon for his own well being
At this point it shouldn't all be about $

Who exactly are 'they'? Are you personal freinds with Richardson, Crowe and or Bennett?

Before latrell tigers were speaking of aekins or edwards from penrith. Hooker wasn’t really on the agenda but with reynolds issue and if goes how I expect it to I wouldn’t be surprised to see tigers inquire about peats on a 2 year deal ??

Oh god no please don't be true.

i agree with you 100% but what other hooking options are there?

I haven't been following league nearly as much as i used to but are there any quality 9's in the comp apart from the souths player and cam smith?

Doesn't seem like there are many great players available to sign at all to be honest. I do like the kid at the eels. Their five eigth who partners Mitch Moses.

Here’s how Souths get around the latrell money issue

2020- $500k
2021 -700k
2022 - 7 million and medical retirement due to mental health reasons

A bit lost how can he do that if Latrell is at Wests Tigers training on the 6th Jan 2020..
