Agree. Nice to see that from Brooks but I think AD is the better 5/8th in our team.Luke had one of his better games today. Hats off. But I think Douhie will be our long term 5/8. Hastings and Douhie will be formidable combination...

Redhot 🔥
RE: Doeuhi - Remember what he is coming back from though. Whether you love him or not, it will be a good few months to go past the mental demons of a knee injury, like all good players. Don't expect anything from him this year at all to be fair.Great to see some posts like this.
The team comes first.
🔥🔥🔥
Can't wait to see Adam back.

That's right bra.RE: Doeuhi - Remember what he is coming back from though. Whether you love him or not, it will be a good few months to go past the mental demons of a knee injury, like all good players. Don't expect anything from him this year at all to be fair.
Agree 100%.If he hold this bit of form and we keep winning , Madge won’t just put Adam to 5/8 and move Brooks , Adam will return in the Centre I think
Madge talked about it pre-game. Our backline previous was robotic and predictable. Need to throw shapes at them . Brooks is in for a big year at 5/8 if he stays fit. Would love to see him restructure his deal to benefit the club.I thought Brooksy had pretty much his usual game. His strengths are running, tackling and passing. While he didn’t run much , his passes found their mark. The pass to elastic man Luci was well timed because he wasn’t under pressure, similarly when he went long to Nofa.
Hastings definitely condensed the middle third, something we’ve not had.
The tactic of passing and turning forwards back on the inside was most important and effective for mine, as it often held the opposition slide defence there that fraction of a second longer.I thought Brooksy had pretty much his usual game. Give him some more potent attacking weapons wider and he’ll go even better. I think when he plays with freedom he’s up there with the Keary’s etcHe had an awesome game, Hastings gave him the freedom to just do his thing. He has never been an organising half and never will be, if Madge can manage that for him maybe we can get the old Luke Brooks back. Iv been critical of his past performances for this season but I would give anything for Brooks to get back to his best form, on his day he is as good as anyone. My issue was there just were not too many of those recently.
Only works if the plodders run a good line thoughThe tactic of passing and turning forwards back on the inside was most important and effective for mine, as it often held the opposition slide defence there that fraction of a second longer.
Hastings freeing him up was night and day compared to his past performances, I figured it would help but had no idea how much. Plus Hastings has always been a footballer, Mark my words if he's fit next year if we make the 8 or not he's in the running for the Dailey M.Give him some more potent attacking weapons wider and he’ll go even better. And Tamou did if better than othersOnly works if the plodders run a good line though
Hopefully they take points off each other. It’s good to have a halves pairing to get excited about. Let’s see them get over south’s before we piss in their pocket too much lolHastings freeing him up was night and day compared to his past performances, I figured it would help but had no idea how much. I thought our forwards stood up. We had 4 run over 100mt and 4 with tackle efficiency’s above 90%. That also created plenty of work for the Eels middle. The tactic of passing and turning forwards back on the inside was most important and effective for mine, as it often held the opposition slide defence there that fraction of a second longer.
I know right we have been here before, we put in a great performance then fall off the next week.Hopefully they take points off each other. It’s good to have a halves pairing to get excited about. Let’s see them get over south’s before we piss in their pocket too much lol
