Holbrook seemed like a great bloke when they did an in-depth interview with him on Fox footy. Happy to see him do well. DCE on the other hand needs head-butting into oblivion.

I would be rapt to see Brooks come out of his shell and rip it up. He has it in him IMO but it's just not happening.
Can't see where change or improvement is going to come from with Luke at WT, year after year it's been groundhog day.

He is a good, humble fella by the looks but our under-average roster needs a motivator, kick up the arse playmaker to at least make it competitive against the stronger teams.

Comes a time when change is needed.
 
Even when we have a chance to get momentum with a penalty, he finds a way to cripple its impact with the most ineffective, garbage, touch-finders I have seen in all my years watching the game.

I can only think he must have zero confidence in his own kicking ability to repeatedly do that. But it can't be that, because how can he have such low confidence before the season has even started?!
And it can't be due to lack of ability; even someone with no training could kick those better.

I can't explain it, maybe have to put this down to a never ending series of brain farts he has.
Whichever way you look at it, he is inept.

I can't disagree with that.

I have a lot of time for Brooks as an athlete & quality footballer - and as Geo said last year it may be best for both parties to part ways.

However I fear that while Brooks will likely flourish elsewhere - with no proven replacement we will again go downhill into another period of so-called re-building.

I don't believe Luke has ever had a top 8 squad - and if people want to count the years with Tedesco maybe ask yourselves why this great fullback wasn't winning us games off his own brilliance like Slater did for the Storm....

You can't make cover tackles on the wing for dudes who just don't know how to defend every game - or make all the tackles for backrowers who are defensive turnstiles!

He put a perfect cross kick by the left upright for his chasers - unfortunately only Kelma chased and challenged for the catch!

He knocked it through Turbo's hands and another try went begging.

Very demoralising for a half - like his back rowers consistently dropping short balls when put into gaps!

(Not Kelma - who took all his passes on Friday but maybe heading to marooner pastures from all reports.)

I remember this moment.

He played much better, early in the game and turned to mud later on...

Typical with our team.
Madden is too raw for 80 mins on high level football, even in a trial.

Work in progress but he could get better with more game time.
School boy prodigy coming through.
The talent is definitely there.

There’s two types of humour on this forum. You got dad humour, and then you got the discord crew running like 30 year old wiggers. Those 2 types of humour don’t really appeal to me. Sorry if that makes me a stick in the mud, but you can’t help what hits your funny bone.

That was very close to a human response as we can expect from you I guess.
Try not to jump on someones post that you think will get support from others and in doing so you think it will make your standing in the forum higher. Yor trolling is so obvious.
Its also so blatantly obvious that your trolling for brownie points and not saying something that is human and vulnerable.
There are plenty of nerds on here that seem to support you so I guess you can gain hope from them. Couldn't see you lasting long in the real world.
