This is exactly what I mean ......these blokes don't have an ounce of footy sense about them
Gagai wouldn’t have been binned for just throwing the ball though ..
Gagai getting 10 was a square up from Cummins .
I loved it ....
Bring back the biff ..
So sick of watching grown men swing handbags .
Gagai hits him 1st ...they showed it after both were sinbinned
Meh....
Piss weak D cost us ...
We were all over them Hobbo ...we'd evened the numbers up at that stage and we probably go on and win
OK example ...if that had been someone like Lewis ...he goes down ...OK he looks like a pussy ...but he gets the right result for the team
Footy smarts ...pity you can just snap them up at Aldi
I understand you were a bit of a legend on the footy field Hap ,well done...
BUT Hobbo told me you have more Oscar awards than footy awards....Hollywood here comes Hap...

Souths winger Dane Gagai and Wests Tigers halfback Luke Brooks are facing a two-match ban after being charged for striking during the melee involving players from both teams on Thursday night at Bankwest Stadium.
Each player has been handed a grade-one striking offence but can halve their suspension with an early guilty plea.
Gagai and Brooks were sin-binned for their part in the 51st-minute incident.
Tigers lock Alex Twal, who coincidentally was also sent to the sin bin for a professional foul a few minutes earlier, has been charged with grade-one dangerous contact for a 41st-minute incident involving Rabbitohs prop Mark Nicholls.
Twal is facing a one-match ban but can escape suspension with an early guilty plea.

@jirskyr said in [Luke Brooks: That Punch](/post/1229266) said:My main issue was that he didn't drop Gagai with the punch, because Gagai is a Grade-A jerk and he deserves a full-fist punch in that stupid face of his.
Within the context of the rules, it was dumb, even if totally provoked. Brooks was lucky that the ref decided to square it up, because he could potentially have been marched alone for a blatant punch, whereas Gagai was more of a cat scratch.
I still have an issue that you can act like a total monkey out there so long as you don't actually throw a punch, which is ridiculous. For example, if Brooks had chased Gagai and tackled him, he would not have been sin-binned, or if he had grabbed his jersey and ragdolled him... but he throws a punch and gets in trouble after after having his eyes scratched and being pinged with a football.

Hahaha, funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time Mike! The silent majority. Next week they’ll be in there wearing their “bring back the biff t shirts”. Ha ha.Was there a recent rule change to reduce the punishment for punching?
