He’s supposed to lead in all stats but, assists, tries, points, repeat sets, hits ups, post contact metres. If he can’t do that then send him to reserve grade and bring in the rook.

Two good kicks today, improvement from last week. Unfortunately his passing and running games was pretty average. Doueihi was the man who was dangerous with the footy in hand. Plenty of average kicks from brooksy too.

Doueihi was our best prop;

He was our best everything. He's a real talent and easily one of our best performers this year. His bombs once again worked well, one or two good short kicks but one or two average ones, really nice passing to set up Garner and Nofa and was strong running the footy.

Played 6 for 4 games and he's easily the best half at the club. He'd be so much better with a proper halfback next to him too.

You can lay the plot next to Potter, Taylor and Cleary. That's what became of the last three coaches who tried to mould a team around him.

Got to leave Laurie at 1. In his current headspace, the last place Id have Roberts is fullback.

I love JTJ, but he is borderline on getting selected for me.

He’s played ok for mine... really needs to work on his Defence. But he’s not alone there. Goal kicking not overly keen on either tbh.

Us not having a better replacement for Brooks is not a reason to persist with him as our long term number seven.

For what it’s worth I’d play Mbye there for now with a view to trying Madden before the end of the season and if Madden doesn’t look the part we need to hit the market hard for a half back.

I actually feel sorry for Brooks, he looked genuinely upset after the game and I think keeping him in the team is now a player welfare issue.

He’s not capable of doing what he is being asked to do which isn’t his fault. It’s the fault of the coach who continually puts him in this position.

Im not talking long term, Im talking next week, and the week after. Surely you pick the best player in each position and the one most likely to help get the result?

I agree with everyone here about Brooks atm, but there is no one better in the club atm and I can not sign up for selecting an inferior player in a position to teach someone a lesson, we should be trying to win each game.
