Hopefully Pascoe is gone, and we keep both Hartigan and Madge.

Find a CEO that’s run successful football clubs before.

They keep Maguire the club is done ! This is a pivotal moment for this club .. there HAS to be on field success and after 3 seasons of failure what fools actually think next season is any different the players want no part of him ! All I say good luck with all of that ! The CEO should go as with the coach and a few contracted players then your on the right track!

100% agree with you all of that as I think the majority of Wests Tigers supporters do. But who cares about Wests Tigers supporters? Typical Wests tigers hierachy cop out.

On all the polls on the forum, plus the surveys on the wests life pod, Madge still has majority support.

I think we should still stick with madge.

Bring in some players with character and will to win - Hastings & Doueihi is a start but need a core group of 5-6 players in key positions

Move sheens into a more senior role, working closely with madge and haritgan

Replace assistants with decent younger assistants- with one identified to be groomed as a future first grade coach

Lastly, replace pascoe with a football ceo

Wayne Pearce is available.

Isnt Pearce still on the RL Commission?

I am worried this club is about to make yet another boneheaded decision that is going to cost us long term. If I'm choosing between Madge and Hartigan, it's Hartigan every day of the week. his work to put this club on the right track has been exceptional. imagine what he'll be able to do long term. very very worried the board is going to kill us off next week.

And there it is KILL US OFF !! Spot on …

I can agree that it looks that all (on every level) organisation contributions and collaborations are misaligned and cause for certain challenges and expectations still not being met. However, our specific mission is to win games and unfortunately poor roster management is still at the core of our problems - and still the only thing restricting us to achieve this goal.

Probably time to just sit back and wait - a godawful amount of pure speculation the last few days.

Where is the fun in that...

I agree. As long as he stays away from the nrl rules committee it’s a win.

There is one person who is critical to the future of this club.

?

Hartigan is a must keep, we are a massive chance of getting this wrong and the decision will effect us for a long time.

Tell Hartigan to lock up Jordan Hill. The nuffie in charge of retaining our junior talent (Fita Hala) hasn't got a damn clue and we're going to lose some of these top juniors the way things are currently playing out.

Wests Tigers coach Michael Maguire retains strong support from elements of the club’s board as his future is expected to be decided by the end of this week.

While Maguire has dominated headlines in recent weeks, counterpart Brad Arthur’s time at Parramatta will also come under the spotlight should the Eels be bundled out of the competition as early as Sunday when they play the Knights.

Maguire’s future at the Wests Tigers is clearly at the crossroads. It comes as Maguire made one last pitch to the Tigers board last week, where he urged them to have faith in the direction he was taking the club.

Even still his position is delicately poised but it is understood some members of the board want to see Maguire remain at the helm. Whether that will be enough to save his job will be determined at a board meeting this week.

The Tigers board were awaiting a final report and recommendation from the club’s post-season review. Different parts of the review were undertaken by Tigers chairman Lee Hagipantelis, chief executive Justin Pascoe, head of football Adam Hartigan, new head of performance Tim Sheens and board member Danny Stapleton.

Sheens’ view will hold great sway given he has been the only Tigers coach to lead the joint-venture to success. There is a belief among high-profile figures at that club that getting Sheens closer to the team next year could assist with the on-field performance.

While the departures of highly-paid players Moses Mbye and Russell Packer will help end some of the expectations placed on underperforming shoulders.

Several high-profile players have made it known they want Maguire to see out the remaining two years of his deal.

The club still has about $1 million left to spend on its roster for next season.

Look I agree that Madge must take a fair share of responsibility for what happened this year. I expected more as I’m sure he did also.
We started the season following that preseason Manly win and faced a tough draw.
I think that things really started to go bad after that close loss to Souths. Our heads were down after that and results showed that players and Madge were well and truly down after that.
Sliding doors and if we jag couple of wins that we should have got in the bag and we find that we would have something to play for in our last round game against the bulldogs.
I’m not making excuses for anyone ….. but things are finely balanced for teams like ours.
We have a young, inexperienced team that just got a season under their belts.
We played virtually whole season without any positive input from Packer, Musgrove, Joey L. Roberts, AJ and Walters. Not saying that they would have made lots of difference but that’s a large chunk of our roster.
So yes a tough season but stay positive guys all is not lost.

G'day @momo_amp_medo
Re your "we started the season following that preseason Manly win".
I feel each and every Wests Tigers supporter including myself would have felt we were going to have a winning 2021 after beating Manly the way we did.
I feel it was the worst start to Our season possible, as the players probably thought there and then they were winners and didn't have to try to hard to win games.
Being young and inexperienced they were immediately overconfident until reality set in and they lost that confidence, but unfortunately never found it again.

Off course players want Maguire to stay these are the same players that have No respect for the jersey only there pay packet .
The Board want to be very careful with there decision as I know there is much anger in the membership and supporter base the day of reckoning has come for this club !
High profile players are these the ones that tanked last round !

Yeah, sometimes the kids have to repeat a year.

Problem is that we have Noffo repeating for the next 4 years.
