Amazes me how some of these reporters say -” Cam Ciraldo would not be interested in coaching WT the basket case!”
Well I was reading this old article from back in April this year.
About how Ciraldo was trying to get out of his Penrith contract to be an assistant to Craig Fitzgibbon at the Sharks. He would be closer to home and believes a change might be good, as he has been at Penrith for almost 10 years.
He said sometimes I feel the players may be sick of hearing the same voice. But then changed his mind, because he probably thought, what’s the point of moving from one club as an assistant to another to be an assistant.
Now , as if he wouldn’t be interested in being closer to home with a brand new centre of excellence, becoming a first grade coach with Tim Sheens holding his hand.

I cannot believe its taking them this long to make a decision on Madge.. Before people say that I'm been impatient I just feel the quicker this is made the better for the club and 2022 for everyone involved. I hope we are just not holding off to see if Cameron C actually wants to come here..

Anyway at least the NFL as started so happy days

I don’t think they’d hold of this long if Cameron C wasn’t interested. Surely there would be no other reason to hold it off so long.

I also follow the Sac Kings in NBA and they have missed playoffs for the last 15 years so its hard but love it

Drawing out the review tells me that we are in talks with ciraldo and trying to get an understanding if he would take the job. It could also be madge blowing up royally about his assistant coaches being removed and having sheens on top of him. If that’s the case they could be negotiating a pay out in the background.

I think it's madge not happy.

Could be a good solution for all parties. Madge tells the media he is not going to coach having Sheens on top of him, so he quits. In the background on the quite a settlement is reached. Madge is not sacked, so his reputation is not tarnished and we get a new coach

I don't care how we get to having a new coach, as long as we get there in the next month

I think we need it sorted in two weeks max. Contracted players will be getting released and coming onto the market soon as clubs re gig their rosters for 2022 and we need to have a coach bedded down to have any chance in the market place

I do agree with that, I just don't want the club to wet their pants and keep Madge on because they couldn't wait 2 or 3 weeks to get who they wanted or needed

the other side of that coin is punting Madge without a suitable and superior replacement. What could go wrong?

Had to double check, yep you said anyone but not everyone, of which someone does agree but not everyone. Unfortunately no matter how often it is mentioned that the club hasn’t been able to sign players for a decade, including when even the Premiership winner was doubling as the Australian coach and the squad was a top four outfit…..

I’ll add though that Maumalo was a solid signing…need more of those types
