So if one of the issues is he couldn’t attract players, what hope do one of those Pommy coaches have. If we want to attract players, there’s only 2 options. Bennett, and as much as I hate him, Flanagan.

THis is one of the reasons I am behind Ciraldo. I think he would have a lot of pull with some of the younger players.

I dont think its Madge.

He's the scapegoat.

Its failed negotiations on the part of others that saw us failed to sign JAC and TPJ of late.

Madge couldn't adapt to his roster and failed to see how he played with souths would not work at tigers. We don't have same Burgess

This means nothing in the big scheme of things but my partner knows zero about RL. She is from Eastern Europe and Ive taken her to Leichhardt a couple of times but knows nothing about RL. She is an ex elite athlete (Olympic squad).

I watched part of the second episode of Tales from Tiger Town with her and as I apologised to her for the swearing as Madge addressed the team in the dressing room, she just turned to me and said **"that man has lost his players, there is no connection."**.

Its just the ramblings of an outsider but one with first hand experience of elite level coaching. I wanted to back Madge but at teh time I feared she was right.
