The biggest thing is that Madge isn't alone. Every coach that's been at the club has gone down the same path... that means there's a lot bigger issues. Need to go from the very top down.

Getting harder to call Benji a club legend. He's such a spoiled brat, you'd think a 36 year old man would have class but he's like a school girl. Gets dropped (deservedly so) and attempts to turn the playing group on the coach which is still causing issues to this day I'm sure.

Club shouldn't give him anything in the future ever again. Real club legends don't act that way, Lawrence is the best example.

The article is spot on, the Club should have listened to what was being said, not who said it.

And I know plenty of tough and skillful school girls.

Not all the players felt like Benji did.... literally the only reason he was upset was because he got dropped and it hurt his ego. Why should the club listen to that bloke? He wants nothing but the best for himself and that's it. A lot of the younger guys back Madge and got upset with Benji and the other older plays for trying to cause drama.

Benji and Robbie used to run the club, they got coaches sacked and did whatever they want. Look where that's gotten us!

What was being said, according to the article, was that Benji shouldn't have ben dropped - which is rubbish. The article says way more about Benji's ego than it does about Madge's coaching.

I noticed that Madge got asked something in the post game press conference like “who is to blame or something like what do you need to look at”

With him replying starts with the players .. paused and also said staffing aswell..

So obviously some of the staff aren’t doing something right, which I honestly could point my finger at Lee hagipantelis or Pascoe..

Reason I say this is that they always come out of no where and talk crap and I believe they’d be the ones saying something behind the doors like “you can drop bla bla bla and bring in bla bla bla”

i watched every game on the weekend and the tigers are the poorest team in the competition so the wooden spoon is a feit accompli.
The cowgirls and warriors both came back after being well behind but the Tigers dont show any capacity to do this.
They are dispirited and disorganised so yes,the coach needs to be replaced.
Both Laurie and simpkins had quiet games yesterday and if they are the future shining lights for the tigers they will be extinguished under the current coaching regime.

How did Benji and Farah go here? We were crap majority of the time they were here despite them pretty much deciding who the coaches were etc. They don't know anything besides their own inflated egos.

My view on Madge was always he would be the coach that got rid of all the loafers and built a hardened roster where someone else would come in and recruit players to get them firing. His tactics have a use by date but for me now is not the time.

Madge is basically being done over like Dean Pay.

I hope not. It makes zero sense. Roster is a bottom half of the table squad. Changing coach is the dumbest thing I have heard in years.
I feel it’s a cop out from management and fans that don’t want to admit reality the squad is poor. Some feel changing the coach gives hope I don’t see it that way.

As others and I have said he has assembled 90% of the squad so if it’s a poor squad and he can’t get anything out of players he brought in who’s fault is it .Keeping this coach gives no hope

That’s ridiculous he’s assembled 90% of the squad. He’s trying to unravel it pretty much openly. I’m shocked it’s stayed together this long.

Since Madge has come in we have had Luciano, Blore, Utoikamanu, Harry Grant, Jake Simpkin, DaineLaurie, Ofehengaue, Douihei come in. In the reserves Tuki Simpkins, Tuilagi have also come in.

To varying degrees they are the best players in the team. They are also young and he’s building a team to last.

The one major mistake was Brooks extended after a Dally M season when we had b graders.

BJ, Jet, Tamou, Kepoa have been poor but most low cost.

The false narrative this is the squad Madge wants when Mbye, Packer and others are taking massive money off the cap is so wrong.

The problem is our best talents are young and not seasoned and can’t aim up every week. Our experienced players are loafers.

It sucks but long term rebuild is happening if weak management want to scapegoat and convince fans we are any good they either have no idea or straight out lie to fans.

And the experienced loafers that are in the side Maguire either re-signed or brought them to the club but that’s ok there low cost so will excuse him

To tell the truth ,if Madge gets sacked I can guarantee this club will be in whole world of hurt for the next 3/5 years with no FINALS appearance...
coaches,players ,admin will all give the place a wide bearth...you reckon we cant attract marquee signings,see how we end up after sacking a premiership coach who has tried to cleanup a rabble that it has been for years...

worse. He’s failed.

In your opinion,but he gave Simpkin his debut when everybody said he is far off NRL,he got Laurie here early,he moved AD to 5/8 and bought in Joe O and Stef to strenghthen the team and you say he failed because the results dont suit you...your hate for the man is overwhelming..yet you dont blame player incompetence at all...

I don’t hate him at all, but he’s done a terrible job and he deserves to get the sack. We’re 1-6, you may be happy with that but I find it unacceptable.

He'll be lucky to see out the week. It would be better for WTs to be decisive and move swiftly.
