And once again the journos get it wrong!

It is good news, but let’s not get too enthusiastic about slapping any board members on the back. And for the journos part they played in the fiasco? Well, they were just passing on what someone in the club told them. Which means we still have a big problem.
Any ideas who that may be? Who is close to Chamass?

Phil Gould called it if you listen to him closely. It’s being media driven by people at the club who everyone knows are the problem. We have to change recruitment and retention team ASAP.

Sheens is no fool he may cover up these people and take charge and they keep their roles in name only. I’ll be interested to see who’s heads roll for this complete disregard for the club and it’s fans .

Madge needs to swallow his pride and hire elite assistants who he thinks could take his job one day . If Madge is good enough , there’s no reason why he can’t provide a coaching pipeline , like Bellamy , Belliceck, Ferguson , etc . And to be fair even Alex Ferguson , was looking over his shoulder in the first few years at Man U . They were garbage. He just needs to accept he can’t do it himself .
Like I’ve said, I hope he does . I’m rooting for him. But if he doesn’t , or , he can’t , then we should have got rid of him today .
The problem with all this is , who has faith that the board ,Pascoe , and to a lesser extent , Hartigan are smart enough to know that answer ?
Cause I definitely don’t .

Yeh …. That’s indeed is going to be a real challenge.
I predict couple of admin changes are on the horizon.
And it will be interesting how Madge - Sheens - Hartigan tag team works out.
Anyway it’s good that it’s all over and we can turn our attention to the issues of revising the coaching support staff, the roster and recruitment.

Why is that obvious?

We’ve heard 2 things from the club:
- they were undertaking a review
- Madge is staying on as coach

From the media we’ve had 4 or 5 articles a day and talking heads putting their opinion in. All of which was speculation.
