Here’s the inevitable situation in 12 months.

We’re in the middle of another heavily publicised review, Maguire is undoubtedly sacked as the club finished bottom 4 yet again and our 4 best young talents in Laurie, Doueihi, Stef and Blore all come off contract at the same time and can talk to teams as of November 2022, during that time Pascoes first priority is to find a new barber before a new coach and we lose all 4 again. Embrace this reality now so you’re not as disappointed when it happens.


Umm, you told us all that he was inevitably sacked this time. And, guess what? You were wrong.

Why would we pay any attention to your predictions for 2022? Or, in fact, anything you write?? Some of us are smarter than that @yeahcaz

Only thing that saved him was a bunch of old farts writing to the club that they would pull their memberships if he was sacked and with our board and CEO the way they are, I’m stunned they caved to such empty threats. At yesterday’s time it was more than safe to assume he was gone.

If you genuinely think he’ll be here this time next year or the club will be in a better spot because of keeping him now, you are completely deluded.

Personally I have sat on the fence regarding Madge. I thought his performance on the documentary showed he was one of the few people with total passion. But if he was hooked I would have had to live with it because I am a tigers supporter before anything else. But what makes me happy is the up yours to so called journos like pooper and creepy crawly who earn their living blatantly lying with their so called sources in the club. These parasites should be ashamed at the garbage that spews from them. So now I think love him or hate him we need to get behind Madge and try to move forward and tell the media to shove it.

My wife and I each have a premium membership and will keep them. We support the Wests Tigers and would never put any coach, player or other individual above the club (even Robbie!). We have stuck solid through thick and thin and believe that's what members and fans do.

I'm not looking for any pats on the back for this but we will always support whoever the club appoints. so the outcome of the review has had no impact on our support. I'm glad to see Madge continue with the passion and belief that he wears on his sleeve.

We were minus 10 Ist graders for one reason or another. This fact has been conveniently omitted by those with an agendas. I like you was of the opinion the players were not responding to Madge but as previously stated, that might be improved by a couple of decent assistants. There is one thing I will give Madge is that he definitely tries to give it his all. Unfortunately that might not be good enough, however I sincerely hope it is.

I’ve just read the SMH report and what struck me as weird was the concern from the board that there needed to be greater connection between the club and the football department.

From the chairs and CEO’s previous communication, it seems the separation between the football department and club was intentional given Pascoe and the board has no football intelligence. I remember at the start of this review the chair laying the blame on the football department and going to painstaking lengths to praise the financial performance of the front office. It’s hypocritical bs that the board have laid the blame at Madge’s feet for the org structure and delineation of duties and responsibilities and that’s coming from someone who wanted Madge gone.

This is just one example of mixed messaging and diabolical communication from the club. I remember when Taylor got sacked, the club refused to acknowledge he was the wrong choice (clearly he was), the Pangai Jnr situation was embarrassing and unprofessional and yesterday’s cancelled board meeting was just a train wreck from start to finish. Communication may seem like a minor detail but poor communication creates uncertainty and an unstable working environment. It makes us seem outwardly unprofessional and chaotic, and degrades our integrity. Also it points to deeper issues of a lack of strategic direction both on and off the field.

Sorry for the long-winded rant guys I’ve just never been more disappointed and ashamed of the club.

I'm sure just coming out of the bubble will help with that, but I don't know. I know there were questions earlier in the year about why the coaching staff was reporting training was great but games were so poor.
