I wouldn't want to lose Doueihi but I don't see him going with Madge. I think Adam genuinely loves the Club and, to be perfectly frank, I can't see Madge landing another NRL role. Madge might pick up something in England but I'd be surprised if Adam followed him there.

I'm just gonna state this because I honestly don't wish to blurt it out during an heated exchange or any miscommunication, but I'm honestly going through a lot right now. So apologies if there's some issues with the layouts of my posts.
My whole world has been turned upside since I lost the man I shared my first kiss, hopes and dreams and life with.
I've usually been lurking more than posting - worried how the floods have impacted others - and despite the WTF not always being the most pleasant place it's been most comforting for someone that feels as broken as me right now.
Even the silly squabbles on here are entertaining and bring me some type of joy. Thanks to @batboy @PJ @Demps @Merlot and @hobbo1

The chaos on here has been great for helping me cope with any emotions I'm feeling right now and any pain I feel is automatically replaced by pain for supporting this team.
Thanks if your reply was constructive feedback on the constructions of my posts, if it was otherwise some of you people sound a lot worse off than me (which is actually an attempt of a joke, if that's not clear enough).
Wow...Lauren...I'm so sorry to read your very sad news 🙁
What a roller coaster of life you're going thru.
From the joy of the birth of your Son to the low of losing Your man in such a short time.
But I have gathered from your posts You are a very resilient Lady, so I feel it wont be long before life is heading UP again real soon.
My thoughts are with You as are the thoughts of Everyone on Here.
And as my Grand Mother used to say..."keep the sunny side up" 😉 🙂

I actually like Adam and he tries hard for us, week in week out when he plays, god I hope when he comes back he goes ok, he’s had a few things to say , hope he can lead from the front again when he comes back. He’s no world beater, but is a solid first grader which is what we need.

He appears to give a crap at least, unlike some on this team that are quite happy to collect their pay check, dish up rubbish performances and perve at themselves relentlessly on the big screen at the game.

How is Madge too hard on the team?
He picks players week after week, month after month, year after year irrespective of their form.
Myth. Just like the trains them too hard. Excuses for poor performance. Des rips a door off its hinges in anger and it's an expression of his frustration. Bellamy renowned for his anger rants- fortunately for him his squad dont reduce him to that too often - but the players all openly talk about it. Maguire kicks a chair at halftime ... our blokes and some fans fall in a heap.

You can only recruit players who are willing to sign on with us. Madge has gone after the best but has been knocked back and has had to settle for players lower down on his wish list.

Elite players will play for clubs who are in the hunt rather than sign up for more at the Tigers. It will only change when the perception of our club changes
The perception will not change with the style we play and looking like a poorly coached team. Something has to change and we all know this cannot continue.

So you wouldn’t swap them for Finucane and Hynes?
… rock and a hard place with that question.

I’d take Hynes and Hastings because Jacko could transition later and Nicho plays up tempo sort of football that we’re crying out for!

Finucane is just a better piece than Tamou, for us? Has a lot to do with body shape and positional play/fitness. If we ever needed a lock and had 2 or 3 more decent impact props then would’ve considered Dale a loss.

The perception of the club is where the problem lies - not with the coaches who have tried to change it. Strong squads make coaches successful. Until this club can attract those players our position on the ladder stays camped in the bottom half of the comp. Api K and I Papalli a start.

Just my view but with a change of coach I'd expect significant individual improvement in our players.

A better coach would get more out of this roster. Ivan Cleary had a worse roster and had them playing better than this for a while there before he decided to bugger off

Time to rip off the band aid and get it done. You don't need a replacement ready to walk straight into the job, Madge has to go.

Im with you 100%

Like I said, no defending this foolery.
We’ve also lost some pretty good players in his tenure - Farah, Benji, Harry…
few others haven’t kicked on with injury
Some have certainly plateaued…

I still think his hands have been very well tied in improving squad wise with the Cleary hang over… last year paying Mbye, Packer and Reynolds - this year paying Mbye.

I’m not decided if he’s “the coach” that gets us out of this reoccurring funk… what I do know is - sheens wasn’t, potter wasn’t, Taylor wasn’t, Ivan wasn’t and Webster either…

At some point someone has to teach us “how to play” because forever it’s been Benjiball… and that’s had it’s time.
If he can get us to a point where we’re an effort team - I can “cope” with the losses… but this turn up one week and leave your ticker on the bus the next has to stop…
Madge can’t be blamed for that - that’s been our DNA forever

How quickly people forget Cleary took the Panthers roster to outside the 8 with basically the same squad he won minor premierships, premierships and runners up with…

He’s done nothing without a rep squad!!

He's the one who moved on a lot of their old players and brought all the Penrith juniors through and helped turn them into guns... by the end of 2020 he had them playing quite well

None of them were rep players before he got there and they weren't playing as a team like they do now. He completely changed how they play
