Mitch Moses Denied Release - Confirmed

Crazy how much your opinion can change so quickly on a player. I'd have been distraught at this news a month ago, now I see it as a relief. It all but guarantees we wrap up the other 3 and gives us some coin to find an established no 6\. Someone who will be able to mentor Brooks. The more I think about his move, the more I like it.

My sentiments exactly GNR - didn't think I would ever feel that way either.

I would play him until we are no longer a chance for the finals and then drop him for the rest of the season. Definitely would not let him go to the Eels this year.

In the same article Hooper reports that Woods and Teddy are as good as gone.

Tedesco to the Roosters unfortunately makes a lot of sense.

makes sense if your salary cap is 12 mill like the roosters..

Honestly, I got sick and tired of Moses controlling possession in the backline with no effect. The money he frees will allow Wests Tigers to get a very capable replacement plus at least a new good centre.

You mean the same article where Hooper reports Brooks has signed 2 years $1.5M? Half a day after SMH broke the news that Brooks signed for $550K?

Same article he says Brooks is in a 10-day cooling off and is a chance of reneging because Tigers are "a basketcase"?

Same article where he says "forget speculation of the last 6 months, Tigers only formally tabled latest offers last Friday." Well of course they did DH, Cleary just became the coach. Doesn't mean there weren't already rounds of discussion before this.

Same article he says Dogs likely to sign Woods and Roosters are suddenly in the frame again for Tedesco.

How much can you believe this sensationalising?

And then there's another Fox article referencing the Foran to Dogs rumour. But SMH reported Dogs are actually under some salary cap pressure and need to shed players on contract, which is no guarantee and even then would need to pick up some bill… but they can afford Woods and Foran? Righto.

Agree … If the team continue to play like crap on the field Moses can be part of it !
Never a dull moment here at Wests Tigers !

Mate I would refuse and put him in reserve grade off the bench, why give Parra a break, but I guess his manager than would try and black mail the club with Teddy and Woods

They were my initial thoughts as well.

just hope the tigers dont release him early

put moses in state cup for rest of season.

the tigers owe him and the eels absolutely jack !

enjoy yourself at the eels to play finals footy

I agree.
Play him in NSW Cup all year.

He's played his hand. Why should we help him or the Eels when he has a contract with us.

Cmon Guys it's about developing his football..

It was crystal clear at the time of taking his option for this year despite offers from elsewhere ..to quote Issac Moses 'We'll leave him at the Tigers to develop his football'

Because they seem to have unlimited money and he would fit in perfectly with their backline.

What a debacle. Dont see the point in keeping him here now, but the lack of playing depth will almost certainly ensure Teddy and Woods will follow.
This shoud never have been allowed to get to this point. I fear for the remaining players and the club - for this to happen so early in the season is the worst possible scenario.

Hooper is a scrotum with ears. Wouldn't believe a word he says, he changes his "scoops" by the hour as the rumour mill gets updated. He has no idea as has been demonstrated before many times.
Wouldn't wipe my backside with one of his "exclusive" articles.
