Really? Is that across the whole comp? Even if it was just at the Tigers I'd be surprised. Moses MBye? Mitchell Moses, perhaps.
MBye leading the comp on try assist for any player who's last name starts with 'MB' ... perhaps.
It’s true. He’s got 6 try assists, equal more than any other winger or centre in the competition. He’s got a really good passing game and has set up some nice tries for us this year.
Mbye was actually one of our better players when footy returned. Can’t remember what game , but he had a blinder and people were saying it was his best game in a tigers jersey. Then it just fell apart and he’s had a few shockers since then. If Reynolds goes to super league and mbye to titans then that’s over $1million dollars we have to play with.
Quoted for truth.
IMO he only had 1 "Shocker" and Im not convinced it was his fault as he was all of a sudden inside a debutant on the wing who wasnt up to it.
Since then all eyes have been on him and whilst IMO he has played reasonably well since then, since the "Shocker" everyone is looking for $ 850k performances out of him.
Correction - we always looked for a 800k performance from him every game.
What did he think we paid him that to pretend to be a captain, bludge on the field and be a little eloquent with the media.
Don't think so.
So you think a player should be trying to play to their salary? If a player is underpaid? Or a player should just play his best every game? Its ridiculous. Not his fault that he was signed to an insane contract. His best is not worth $800K.
It's not his fault, but I haven't heard he is giving any of it back because he is not putting in though.
Is he not putting in though, as 59 tackles and 80 minutes first game up playing in the nine suggests to me that he is? He has also shown a willingness to play in any position he is asked to by the coach, even when carrying injury for weeks on end, so you can't ask for much more than that.
That WT are paying him a salary of some $800k or more is not his fault, and if the $950k figure bandied about is near accurate, then that blame falls to the CEO.
