MOYLAN MAYBE RELEASED ..

I think that "The Doc" could be right. Just because we haven't heard yet doesn't mean that more haven't got on the bus than the fan's are aware of at this point. If Rona has got a ticket then Ivan has rebuilt this team in 6 months.

2018 should see us pushing for the eight and 2019 could deliver anything.

Sounds more like Depression and Moylan struggling to cope with the pressure.

More like a BS article by Gus to deflect the boys culture that Penrith are renowned for .
Apparently the boys are out on the piss sharing girlfriends 5 nights a week !

Moylan is staying with the Panthers….Gus had talks with Matt and his manager and have agreed to give Matt time away from the game but will still be at the Panthers after he deals with personal issues...

I find it hard to believe he would be granted leave for the finals series if he was staying.

you might find it hard to believe, however ,he has injury problems and personal issues to sort out…it doesn't matter what money he is on he has to be given every opportunity to sort his life out...isn't that what the WTs do...beyond blue for instance..his own well being is paramount...speculate all you like..well done Panthers..to take a persons well being ahead of finals glory is a huge plus for the club...

This is not a new issue. If he is struggling with depression, why was he made to do media commitments on the Footy Show? And why wasn't he granted leave earlier? This creates more questions than answers.

Really don't need another half, but we could use him at fullback instead of lolo if he doesnt come up well in the 2018 preseason.

I need to say it. I don't think ANYONE can take lolo's place. The more I see him play the more I like him. If you look at many break-away tries he is always in the mix, watching the opponents and positioning himself very well. He organises play, he's dangerous as a runner, he's strong and fearless. I really like the guy, I wouldn't take anyone above him. He is less elusive and fast than Tedesco but he passes and kicks better.

Unfortunately we do not know the deep effects Moylan maybe suffering,we should let Gould and co sort the mess out…it really isn't our problem to be honest...

I could see Lolohea scoring 12+ tries next season and improving on his 76% conversion rate.

Im not confident in Lolohea. I think he's a centre. His passing game is extremely erratic. The class and poise of Moylan is exactly what out team needs. Put Lolo in the centres where he just runs.

He can work on that during the preseason.

Defence is an issue for Lolo at centre imho. Plus we have Suli/Milne/Fonua/Naiqama that need to fight it out.

The way Reynolds is playing, you'd move him first if this Moylan thing was to happen. Moylan has been killing it at 5/8…

1\. Lolohea
6\. Moylan
7\. Brooks
9\. Reynolds

14\. Liddle

Or

1\. Moylan
6\. Lolohea
7\. Brooks
9\. Reynolds

14\. Liddle

I would have

1> Moylan
2> Nofa
3> Lolo
4> Suli
5> Founa
6> Reynolds
7> Brooks
8> Matulino
9> Liddle
10> Packer
11> ET
12> Eiso
13> Marsters

Lolo would be a blockbusting centre, Milne has a lot to prove before he gets a start. McQueen off the bench Twal, Aloia and Sue

I Like it! But Lolo would need to get his slide working along with communicating with Nofa in defence.

If we offered Watson $500k, then we should have a bit of cash.

If Moylan wants a release then panthers owe him nothing. The biggest question our team has for next year is the half and 5/8\. As much as I don't really like him as a person I don't think I would say no to him playing for us next year.

I'm still perplexed as to why we offered Watson such a big deal. You don't pay 500k for a benchie or a reggies player so, where was Ivan hoping to fit him in?

Maybe Ivan wanted to make the knights pay a bit more for him like we've been doing for years, perhaps we had or have had our sights on someone else all along maybe

Probably how we got Packer. Made dragons pay more for Widdop

Tui is the real deal.

Interesting in the Q & A , Ivan didn't guarantee that Tui would play fullback or kick goals next year .

If Moylan has issues with Griffin & it comes down to a choice of being coached by Cleary or Flanagan he might go with the coach he already knows he can work with .

I dunno about you blokes…. But when I read something from a club which sounds like it's something they want you to believe but it's in reality quite hard to believe, then I find it hard to believe

Gus was very ambiguous with what he said .

Even the part about Moylan wanting to play out his career at Penrith …. and probably leaving out ... as long as Griffin isn't coach .

I take your point, I suppose clubs can't take chances anymore though. We had a young bloke do himself in after tearing a pectoral, then there was a spate of suicides of NYC players after that. Clubs have to be proactive now.
