The players boycotted a club night organised by Paul White to head over to Wayne's, in a sort of show of support for the great one

I heard it was Wayno and Darius that we’re the only no shows ?!

True, but other players left early to go to Waynes

Fake news I'm afraid.

I saw Bennett getting interviewed, he said I thought all the texts were a gee up about coming over for a bbq, then they all started turning up.
He also said I told them I didn't have a bbq but they could come over any way.
Are you saying Wayne lied.

When we know about our coach having different plans why don’t we resurrect this thread.

A lot can change in 18months or 4 1/2 years

Looks like this could be back on the agenda sooooo

Madge seems the popular choice going by the Cleary thread

I like Toovey but thinking of a Coach who could attract players we need points me at Bennett…Oates and TPJ can come with for starters.. No to Darius...give him 3 years like the Dragons did...could do worse...

If he was open to the idea I wouldn't be against Wayne coming. As you say he can help attract top tier talent.
In saying that I have no issues with the other two you've mentioned as well.

Brett Hodgson

x 2

I don't get the support for Hodgson as coach. Webster and Sandercock are better qualified if we're looking in-house, which we shouldn't be. People get excited because he's an old boy, but as far as I'm concerned Hodgson hasn't got any runs on the board at all as a head coach.

He did do well with the Western Suburbs Magpies in Intrust cup this year however,I do agree that we should look outside for our next FG Coach.

People just love the bloke, he was my fave WTs player…but hes not my choice for coach
Bennett?
Hahaha...no chance, lets try and keep it realistic eh?

Hodgson needs more time in ISP
Maguire OK
Bennett will probably stay at Broncs
Neil Henry could be head coach or a director of coaching with Hodgson and others under him.

Manly will probably sign Madge soon. John Cartwright is available, let's form another Penrith connection - can't have enough Panthers

Wow - when you look at the field, it is really pretty slim pickings.

I think our best outcome would be to extend Cleary for a year or two and see who is available after that. It would set us back years if we were forced to take a second or third tier coach.

Give Madge a crack. We need a tough coach that will turn the Tigers soft culture around. I also think he would’ve learnt from his final two years at Souths when they struggled… coaching is a balancing act... being a hard task master will wear thin on the playing group after a while.

I turned on Fox tonight to watch NRL360 and I thought, “you know what - I’m sick of the bulldust coming from these morons.” Watched reruns of Seinfeld instead.

Cannot believe a word these overrated journalistic hacks say. Kramer on the other hand …....

Came across the "not there's anything wrong with that" episode last night. Much better than 360.

X2, hopefully we are talking to him now.
