A brand new bespoke stadium at Liverpool would tick so many boxes:

Closer to Concord COE than Campbelltown, Westinvest funds so the gov can feel like it's providing something, one true home ground (can still have 2 special home games at Leichhardt like barra said), easy access. Am I missing something?

Liverpool is Bulldogs territory, it would suck as a home ground. Worse than WankWest.

Only in your mind, but it shouldn't matter as you are a happy for a ground in Roosters territory.

Yeah but SFS is in pretty neutral territory. It’s an entertainment and sporting precinct and you won’t see much Roosters stuff there. Liverpool will be full of Bulldogs crap just like Parramatta is full of Eels crap when you walk down the streets from public transport.

Except for their training facilities? The Bulldog crap is just in your mind as we can own that area as it is in our territory.

Liverpool will embrace the Bulldogs, they won’t embrace the Wests Tigers.

You love beating that drum and I’m pretty sure you have said you have never even been here. Such ignorance.

South of the Hume highway (A22) is Canterbury & Liverpool territory. North of the Hume highway is Wests Tigers territory. You can dispute it all you like but that’s how the governments, the NRL and the Media look at it and dear I say the NRL fans do as well.

The border is Liverpool bridge going down towards Moorebank. Anything on the Liverpool side is Tiger territory. You want proof of that? Liverpool junior sides are Tigers juniors

Juniors mean nothing. They could play in Queensland and still be called Wests Tigers juniors. It’s what the council, businesses and the public embrace that matters and it won’t be the Wests Tigers. The Bulldogs will see to that.

You’re making your own rules to suit your own narrative. Council has no affiliation to anyone. Walking through Liverpool isn’t the same as walking through Bankstown. It’s very different. As for the public, it’s not the tribal 1950’s anymore. You think everyone in Leichhardt supports the Tigers or everyone who lives in Parramatta supports the Eels?

I hope you are right and I am wrong, because if I am right and Liverpool is the home ground it will be the end of the Wests Tigers. At some point in the not to distance future, they will simply be taken over by the Bulldogs. Which is what the Bulldogs wanted in the first place.

I think what is more likely to cause damage is people refusing to attend a venue because it is not their preference.

Maybe not a preference as such but what is realistic to get to. If the fans can’t get there you are either done or you need new fans.

It is much more central than the SFS.

Mate your dreaming. The whole Sydney transport infrastructure is about a getting people into and out of the CBD and surrounding areas. Wish it wasn’t it it is and that’s not changing anytime soon.

We have supporters from all over Sydney and you want us to play on one edge the metro area.

Yep. One of the easiest places to get to from anywhere in greater Sydney. Like I said above the whole of Sydney transport system is designed just to do that.

It just isn't though, how long do you expect people from Campbelltown to travel for a homegame?

Travel from Campbelltown to the city is easy. Hop on a train or the highway and point the car north and you are there. Same as if I’m travelling to Campbelltown, Point the car south and take the Campbelltown exit and you are there. If your argument is people from Campbelltown town won’t go to the SFS, that’s as weak as, they won’t even go to the CSS.

I just looked it is an hour and half from Campbelltown station to the sfs

That’s your argument? That is too funny.

Is it not a valid argument?

Not in the slightest.

Why wouldn't we want to be central for our catchment area instead of outside it? Let me guess the SFS is convenient for you?

If that is the argument the club is putting forward then they have learnt nothing from the past and deserve to fold.

That’s your argument? That is too funny.

Is it not a valid argument?

Not in the slightest.

Why wouldn't we want to be central for our catchment area instead of outside it? Let me guess the SFS is convenient for you?

If that is the argument the club is putting forward then they have learnt nothing from the past and deserve to fold.

So you're not going to answer?

I did answer.

No you didn't

Central to who? The fans? You know it's not.

Thats right the SFS isn't

Its Valid to me for 2 reasons:
If I have kids. Its 1.5 hours there and back to each game
3 hours.
If I live 1 hour from Campbelltown Station were talking a 5 hour Round trip.

Parra, Penrith are competing for the North west. Easts, Bunnies and others Competing for Sydney. Dogs, Dragons and Cronulla around the area as well. Manly have the North to themselves.

Own South west. No one is Claiming a Basin as big as Penrith.
Otherwise might as well go Brisbane

Interesting idea. Sell the tigers franchise to Easts Tigers in Brisbane but move Wests to Campbelltown as the magpies. Balmain aligns with Easts as a feeder club.

No

It’s funny watching you all argue that the SFS and Campbelltown is too far apart when the owner of the club is 10km from the SFS and 50km from CSS.

Clubs broken

Yep. HQ is at Concord and people are trying to reposition the club to the South West.

I don't care where the owner is located, the ground should be somewhere in the centre of the metro area.
