Is this just moving deck chairs on the titanic. I'm not stating it's a bad move but I think until we get at least two out of Brooks, AD and Laurie replaced with class players we are up against it.

He is the only big bodied player with some full back experience that can provide some sort of spark at the back for us.
Not a perfect choice on many fronts particularly his lazy defence but worth a try.
Bula will become an option down the line but for now our other two alternatives (Laurie and Stains) can be tried elsewhere.

I actually agree with you. I'm starting to think AD just is too inconsistent and he lacks any semblance of game management. I'm not sure who you play in the halves though. I suppose Laurie can't defend any worse than AD has been.

6.Dane Laurie - i dont know why i just think he will be there somewhere
7.Luke Brooks - was ok but seem to have no direction at all in leading the team around imo hes still playing like a 6 ,its one reason why 6.Brooks 7.Hastings should of been the duo

That has never been his go. Api and AD were out there as well. He was significantly better than both of them at controlling the team and he isn't good at it.

I think Sheens will just swap Laurie and Staines positions.

Then he will change Brooks from 7 to 6 to "unleash" him.

Then he will move Papali'i from Left to Right. Then he will swap Talau and Kepaoa.

He will make changes without actually making changes. If he wants to make a change, just retire as a football coach, get Benji to coach the U20s or reserves or SG/ Flegg teams for 5 years and hire an actual first grade coach. Then fire himself for being incompetent.
