I'm not saying that solely for the fact we are out. I mean, it is the nines after all who really cares. Just the decision to play only 2 games is quite odd

It's not a cop out. Had we have versed the Raiders like the Rabbitohs did instead of the Titans we would be through. What don't you understand about the disadvantage caused by only playing 2 out of the 3 opposition teams in a group. Like I said, however, this is hardly a competition to complain about

True - but when some teams ie raiders decide to use reggies players it disadvantages the side who doesn't get to play them. Either play all teams in the pool or force sides to have a minimum number of NRL players in their squad. The whole format is a joke.

I’m happy with that...two solid games now we out less chance of injuries.Think Mbye probably our best player out of the two games.Big Thomas had some good things but came up with one error which cost us.Hit n giggle footy jus hope we turn up round 1 and smash drags

If Nofo is winger come round 1 we’re in big trouble. He is the slowest player in the world.

Can’t believe I used to defend nofo....absolute garbage form him.......no speed, no height what does he give? He’s a fantastic finisher and good at hitting it up buts that’s about it....very disappointed with him...personally I’d have Jennings and Talau on the wings

Mate it’s not about that. It’s about losing big moments every single time. We underperform in big moments. It’s a pattern. Doesn’t matter what the occasion- this is elite sport and winning is everything, every time. We didn’t win - again. I’m not slashing wrists but I am pointing out a disturbing regularity.

It was the World 7s in 2004 and we had super stars like Ben Reynolds, Robert Miles and Darren Senter when compared to current Tigers players.

Beat Souths by 9, lost to GC by 1. Nice +/- boost for the other teams that got to play such a weak side. Ah well

Nofa might be the slowest winger in the competition. He offers so little in attack besides runs out of our own end and he’s woeful in the air.

Nines format is ridiculous as we are clearly better than Souths but they go through and we don’t.

End of the day it’s only nines, I’m more excited for our actual trial game next week to watch some proper footy.

I actually thought Talau looked a bit sluggish. Not a lot opportunities but I haven’t seen the “it” factor from him yet. I hope I’m wrong.
