Interesting the way Penrith come off their own line. Throw it a couple wide where there's more risk but less chance of a gang tackle. Quick play the ball and the wingers make huge metres. This sets up their kick and rinse and repeat.

Contrast us a metre out where we throw it to Nofo or a forward one off the ruck and expect them to get us out of trouble.

Clearly did this with us too - we used to throw it wide early on whereas I expect Madge wants them to play more conservatively. Seems to work for Penrith, especially given how confident young teams tend to be.

Yeah I haven’t seen a team this exciting for years. Playing like this without their first choice fullback and hooker (half the spine). Not to mention they can lose players like Burton and Laurie and won’t even miss them. We can only dream to have such a team.

Agree with you. Nofa is running of the dummy half. They are getting two passes wide straight away to spread the defence.

If they can stay injury free Penrith will win the comp. Class above every other team. Their fitness is amazing.Momers is a fine player. No star but does what is required of him.
