Benj returns as a backup 2018. Brooks progressing well, self belief & confidence is at a good level, . JR gets injured, Benj role increases as season gets on, Benj gets extension then add Robbie & new coach the following year.. i think this is where he started losing his identity & confidence & getting confused with his role in the team. Perhaps Madge really has faith in Brooks long term and now has to bite the bullet & ditch Benj & move forward with Brooks at the helm.
Im very hopeful with Brooks next year.. solid defender & has the x factor as we all know. He'll get that matter between his ears sorted and kill it... hopefully
I would almost say the Manly game was a watershed moment for Brooks, but we say that whenever anyone at this club seems to turn a corner. They love doing 180s and going back to their bad place.
Watershed? With one decent play in the last three minutes of the game to put Doueihi in. Hope you are right, can’t see it myself. To me it will be a watershed when he puts in an 80 minute performance.
Mbye's TRY..
Ok two in 80 minutes. Still hardly a watershed game, for most of it he ran around like a lost puppy. Brandy pretty much summed him up pre-game. He just doesn’t know what he’s doing, dummy’s to no one and runs straight into defenders is his typical play these days.
Does defending count at all..
