He’s right, he was head of rugby league. Wasn’t CEO. Brian Fletcher is current CEO and before that it was Warren Wilson (when Pascoe was there)
It is the same job. Head of NRL is the Chief Executive Officer on behalf of the board to run the NRL operations. CEO of Panthers (Fletcher) is CEO of the entire Panthers Group (Including a multitude of licensed clubs.
Its the same position as CEO at Tigers
Rock and a hard place with Pascoe. He’s done a lot of hard work and been tireless in securing this clubs future but he’s also overseen some very amateurish and expensive errors.
